Guten Tag everyone:

The RV saga continues with the election cycle. So far it is just more U.S. threats and some rational ideas being kicked around in the political circles of Iraq as to how to accomplish this task of disarming these factions and PMF. Meanwhile the commanding general of the Iranian Quds Forces in Iraq, Qaani, flies into Iraq and attempts to convince the new government NOT to disband or disarm these factions and the PMF. Go figure! What a mess Iraq has on their hands since this are being pulled from Washington on one hand and Iran in the other. All of this nonsense could have been avoided in 2007 if Iraqi leadership at the time had the balls to send these Iranians packing back home once the war with ISIS was over. My question is this- could they even? Where these Quds forces stronger than the Iraqi armed forces and they were unable to do so?

STATUS OF THE RV

As we spring into the season of Spring, things are beginning to heat up again in Iraq over these Iranian backed militia. So, let’s first cover this ongoing saga and then we will get to some positive news from the Central Bank of Iraq. Again, I will try to summarize the recent news for you in the best chronological order I can as it all happened. I will try to keep it simple. However, some of these explanations for the articles today are going to be a bit long as the articles are chock-full of information that helps our quest to learn more and more about what the hell is truly holding up the RV/Reinstatement.

😊 So, the recent saga begins as we should be aware that president Trump made statements regarding acceptance of al-Zaidi as the designate prime minister. See the article titled “TRUMP: WHAT HAPPENED IN IRAQ IS “VERY GOOD” AND I’M HAPPY WITH THE PRIME MINISTER-DESIGNATE.” “US President Donald Trump said on Saturday that recent developments in Iraq were “very good,” expressing his satisfaction with the selection of the Iraqi prime minister-designate, in a further sign of Washington’s support for the new Iraqi leadership.” Of course, any candidate might be better than the obviously corrupt Nouri al-Maliki…lol… lol… lol… But let’s consider the new choice in these terms too. Will Trump be able to work with al-Zaidi to help make Iraq great again (MIGA)?

_________________________________________

😊 However, as investors in the Iraqi dinar, let’s not yet go off half-cocked screaming RV!, RV!, RV!. This approval from Trump comes with a condition that the militias are disbanded and disarmed. So far, no sound plan has been proposed. See article titled “WASHINGTON IMPOSES ITS CONDITIONS ON THE NEW GOVERNMENT AND USURPS IRAQI DECISION-MAKING POWER.”

The source told the “Video News Agency” that “the United States has put forward a set of conditions related to the formation of the next government in Iraq, including a government without armed factions or the Popular Mobilization Forces, the formation of a government team with a new structure and management, in addition to completely stopping the smuggling of hard currency and crude oil.”

An informed source confirmed on Sunday that there are American conditions related to the formation of the new Iraqi government, which represent direct interference in the process of its formation, and affect the nature of sovereign decision-making and the distribution of positions within the state. Of course, the Iranians would say this since they too are interfering and don’t want the US medaling in their affairs to take over Iraq as a proxy Iranian state.

The Iranians always want to paint a picture that the US as interfering in the election process of Iraq and Iraqi sovereignty, really? These are fine words but hypocritical words from Iran as you also must include Iran in the equation too if they are truly concerned about Iraqi sovereignty. Yes, they too along with the US must then go.

_____________________________________________

😊 Next out pops this article titled “DISARMING FACTIONS AMID ESCALATING US PRESSURE.The Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper, quoting Iraqi political sources, revealed the formation of a high-level Iraqi committee tasked with preparing an executive project for disarming armed factions, in preparation for presenting it to American officials in the coming days, amid escalating American pressure on Baghdad regarding the issue of weapons and Iranian influence within Iraq.

The information indicated that the committee is operating under a mandate from forces within the coordination framework.

__________________________________________________

😊Then Muqtada al-Sadr, issued a statement about what to do with the militia. Did he just muddle up the waters and confuse things? Yes, possible solutions to the problem but are they going to work? You do remember Muqtada al-Sadr? His block actually won the overwhelming majority of votes in the 2022 election, even more than the al-Sudani block in 2026. I know we have not heard much from him in years. Remember like al-Sudani, he won a previous election but conceded his votes also to the Coordination Framework. The article is titled “AL-SADR SETS 6 CONDITIONS FOR THE NEXT GOVERNMENT AND CALLS FOR THE DISBANDING OF ARMED FACTIONS.”

I have been waiting for al-Sadr to speak up about this election and these factions. This is a very important step and shows the national consensus is to disband them. Didn’t Al-Sudani tell us this also months ago?  Why is Iraq still having this situation today?

The leader of the Shiite National Movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, issued a statement today, Friday (May 8, 2026), in which he outlined a political roadmap that includes six basic conditions directed at the person tasked with forming the government, stressing the need to achieve “the satisfaction of the people” as a top priority for the next stage.

The issue of uncontrolled weapons topped al-Sadr’s statement, in which he called on the incoming government to transform the armed factions into a formation called “Soldiers of Religious Rites,” to be under the authority of the “Hajj and Umrah Authority,” or to transform them into humanitarian relief formations. My personal opinion this is all just bullshit!

____________________________________________

☹ Then, it was not even a few days later that Qaani came to Iraq on a surprise trip, when this news article came out titled “WALL STREET: QAANI MANEUVERS TO KEEP FACTIONS ALIVE AND AVOID DISARMING THEM.

Washington is pressuring al-Zaidi amid anticipation of the confidence vote session.

Who is Esmail Qanni? He is the commander of Iran’s Quds Forces. Qaani, urged Iraqi officials he met during his visit to avoid excluding militia leaders from the government or attempting to disarm them. WOW, what pressure from both sides Washington and now Iran!

According to information reported by the Wall Street Journal, which covered the issue of al-Zaidi’s nomination, the prime minister-designate has the support of President Donald Trump, who invited him to Washington. The newspaper confirmed that the United States strongly supports him, adding that this support from the White House is conditional on excluding armed factions from the next Iraqi government and limiting Tehran’s influence in Baghdad.

So, based on what is now going on in Iran, do you think that Iraqi leaders will listen to Qaani or the Whitehouse? Let me know what you think in the comments below.

_____________________________________________

😊 We are reading lots of articles on the timing of the new government of Zaidi (or Zaydi or however they spell his name) will be formed as they still have to formalize the list of his cabinet members and present it to parliament for a vote. I am not going to burden you will all this ongoing rhetoric and opinions from these political figures as they are going nowhere in a hurry with these cabinet choices unless they clean up their act and get these Iranian factions and PMF disbanded and disarmed. The US has taken a look at the proposed cabinet member list and disapproved many of the candidates. Many are on the international terrorist list and have ongoing sanctions on them. How stupid even to try to sneak these candidates through. These Arabs cannot be trusted.

It an interesting article today it just about sums it all up. It is titled “WASHINGTON TIGHTENS ITS CONDITIONS, BAGHDAD WAVERS, AND THE FACTIONS BECOME A STUMBLING BLOCK FOR THE NEW GOVERNMENT.”

Gee Whiz….. they only had 5 months already to deal with them and decide what to do with them, but you know Iraq and these stubborn Arabs. The reason why they haven’t yet dealt with the factions and PMF is because they are already subservient to Iran and Iran says they must stay. Remember Qaani just came to Iraq and pressured them.
The Iraqi political scene is witnessing a remarkable escalation against the backdrop of the conditions put forward by the administration of US President Donald Trump regarding the formation of the new Iraqi government, which linked its support for Baghdad to keeping armed factions away from the upcoming ministerial formation, which opened the door to a wide political debate within the country.

I don’t want to hear anyone criticizing the Trump administration as ‘holding up the RV’. This is silly and almost sad to say these things. This Iranian issue should have been dealt with long before now with other presidents, namely Obama and Bush. Anyone telling you this, simply put is ‘an idiot’ and just shows the extent of ignorance as to what is really happening in Iraq. Getting rid of Iran out of Iraq is in part (a large part) of exactly what we need to see and will lead to the RV and Reinstatement. Get it?

______________________________________________

😊 So here is yet another article telling us the aim is to clean out the old corruption and bring out new blood to run the country of Iraq. Oh…. does this sound familiar? Isn’t the US also making these same moves in their own government under Trump? We will soon see a flood of indictments come out there too. Remember the parallel comparison of what is happening in Iraq to what is happening in the US politics is uncanny. There must be some behind the scenes ‘spiritual’ entity working all this out. It can’t be all just coincidence. The article is titled “AL-SHAMMARI: ATTEMPTS TO BRING BACK CERTAIN FIGURES WILL NOT SUCCEED, AND THE CURRENT STAGE REQUIRES NEW FACES.”

MP Mohammed Al-Shammari affirmed on Tuesday “that any attempts to rearrange the political landscape in order to impose certain figures back on the forefront will not succeed, pointing to the need to move beyond the names that consumed the previous phase and caused a decline in public trust.”

Al-Shammari told Al-Maalouma News Agency that “attempts to rearrange political alliances to bring some figures back to the forefront will not succeed unless they are based on a real project that serves the Sunni and Iraqi public in general,” indicating that “the public no longer accepts repeating experiences that have only resulted in political crises.” (after crisis).

He added that “the next stage needs new faces capable of overcoming the disputes and crises that have weakened citizens’ confidence in the political process,” noting that “the insistence on recycling some controversial names represents an obstacle to the stability of legislative and executive entitlements.”

Maybe Iraq also needs to change their political process too as part of this as I (as well as many politicians inside Iraq and the U.S.) believe the changes are necessary as the interpretations of a ‘majority block’ and how it is formed is all wrong and has been the cause of many delays and corruption in the election process. It also allows too much ‘horse trading’ to go on and thus allows the corruption to occur right from the get-go during the election process. This is in-fact how Iran got into Iraqi politics. I don’t believe for one second the average citizen in Iraq voted to have such an Iranian presence in the government thus be governed as a proxy state of Iran.

______________________________________________________

😊 In fact is you take the time to read the article titled “THE “FRAMEWORK” WAS SURPRISED BY THE EXTENT OF AMERICAN SUPPORT… DID IT GET INVOLVED IN NOMINATING AL-ZAIDI?” You can see that what I just said about election corruption is factual and has to change. Folks, this is not rocket science to try to understand the changes that must occur in Iraqi politics if in fact Iraq it going to be a truly sovereign nation, that they claim they are (or more like it in reality want to be) but are not yet.

The Iranian general (Qaani) rushes to Baghdad to salvage the “quiet infiltration”.
The “quiet arrangements” for forming the new government have, over the past two weeks, devolved into something resembling “open chaos,” according to a well-informed Shiite political source. This sudden shift brought the Iranian general back to Baghdad and disrupted understandings that, until recently, seemed almost finalized.

This confusion coincides with the stalled attempts at rapprochement between Tehran and Washington and the rising likelihood of a return to brinkmanship. Prime Minister-designate Ali al-Zaidi was preparing to present his cabinet this week, before these new developments pushed for a possible postponement until the end of May or the beginning of June.

Al-Zaidi now finds himself in a highly complex (very precarious) situation, caught between American pressure to remove the factions from key state institutions and escalating Iranian pressure exerted through armed groups that reject any talk of dismantling their influence or disarming.

Why did the general return?
“Things have descended into chaos,” attributing this to “the tug-of-war between Tehran and Washington.” He continues, “Iran was apparently satisfied with the formula upon which the groundwork for the new government was laid, but now it has returned to objecting, without any clear reasons.”

On Saturday evening, information leaked about Qani’s arrival in Baghdad, just hours after Muqtada al-Sadr’s speech, in which he again warned against “the perfumer’s concoction,” a phrase he uses to refer to Iranian influence, in what appeared to be an early hint at the visit before it was reported in the media.

According to available information, Washington considered several alternative names to al-Sudani but found insufficient indications that these figures were capable of containing Iran’s influence or controlling the armed factions.

At the height of that crisis, Tehran had pushed through what became known as the “quiet infiltration” plan, aimed at repositioning the factions within state institutions through unknown figures, while superficially disarming them.

“Trump had said last Saturday evening that what had happened in Iraq recently was “satisfactory,” emphasizing that he was “happy with the selection of the prime minister-designate.”

(Mnt Goat: Trump also said support to Iraq is conditional upon disarming the militias)

Nevertheless, there are still no clear indications that al-Zaidi intends to confront the armed factions. Muqtada al-Sadr further complicated the situation by calling for the transformation of the armed factions into “soldiers of religious rites” – in his statement last Friday – under the authority of the Hajj and Umrah Commission, or their conversion into humanitarian relief organizations. He declared that anyone who rejects this would be “outlaws.”

The factions’ silence regarding Trump’s statements and his call to al-Zaidi, as well as his support for forming a “terrorism-free” government—a move understood by the US as targeting armed groups—was striking. This was seen as part of a strategy of “quiet infiltration.”

WHAT WILL BECOME OF THE GOVERNMENT?
Even before news leaked of Qani’s return to Baghdad, the chances of passing the cabinet this week seemed high, but recent developments have overturned those expectations.
Political analyst Wael al-Rikabi, close to Maliki’s team, says that “the pressure from the parties to divide the ministries, along with American pressure to exclude the factions, may lead to postponing the vote on the government until after the Eid holiday,”

Is Eid al-Adha a Public Holiday? Eid al-Adha is a public holiday on may 27th this year. It is a day off for the general population, and schools and most businesses are closed in Iraq.

Remember I told you Maliki needed a position in the government to protect his against his crimes. He is now trying for the ministry of Oil in Zaidi’s cabinet, and this is causing yet more controversy too. Seems whatever he touches nobody really wants it. Yes nobody wants this ass—hole around any longer. I quote from the article- “a fierce Shiite struggle is unfolding over the Ministry of Oil, which, according to the norms within the “coordination framework,” is supposed to go to the largest bloc, i.e., to Sudani’s share.”  Maliki knows where the money is. This is always where he migrates to in the government. So, we see “according to political sources, Nouri al-Maliki is still clinging to the oil ministry and refusing to relinquish it at the last minute, despite the blow dealt to his candidate for the position.

This next bit of news in this article confirms to us why we can’t can foreign influence in in Iraqi policies. I quote from the article – “Last year, Al-Mada newspaper, citing informed sources, revealed that parties close to Iran had obstructed agreements to resume oil exports through the Turkish port of Ceyhan, which later led to a severe crisis after the closure of the Strait of Hormuz during the 40-day war.”

Washington also imposed sanctions on leaders of the Kataib Sayyid al-Shuhada and Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq militias on charges related to oil smuggling and the financing and arming of groups linked to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and Hezbollah.
Among those sanctioned was Laith al-Khazali, brother of Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq leader Qais al-Khazali, whose name had been circulating as a potential candidate for the Ministry of Interior.

I can go on and on with this article as it is chock-full of more information. I will let you go to the Articles Section for the rest of it to read on your own. Sorry, I know this commentary was very long on this article but necessary.

OIL AND GAS LAW

I keep bringing this law up for review as to where we are in the stages of getting this law passed and into the Gazette. The US has told Iraq this law is essential to completing all their 2005 constitutional requirements as they must be fulfilled prior to moving to a member once again of the international community (this move means a reinstatement of the dinar back on FOREX).

😊 So, here we go again folks. Yes, the Oil and Gas Law (or better known as HCL) has raised it’s head again, but for the good of our investment. Can parliament get this law passed? This is actually the very first time a sound law acceptable by both Kurdistan and the GOI has been presented to parliament to put into law. In fact both are already abiding by its conditions as if it were already put into law.

Let’s see what the current developments are in this direction of finally getting this law passed. The article today is titled “OIL AND GAS LAW: WILL THE CURRENT PARLIAMENTARY SESSION SUCCEED IN RESOLVING ONE OF THE MOST COMPLEX ISSUES?”

The oil and gas law is imposing itself as one of the most sensitive issues within the Iraqi scene, amid increasing questions about the ability of political forces to pass it during the current parliamentary session. As you may recall Article 112 of the new Constitution of the Republic of Iraq requires the enactment of a law to regulate the oil and gas sector. To date, however, no such law has been enacted. It was supposed to be completed must months after the ratification of the new Iraqi constitution in 2005. It is decades overdue.

The spokesman for the Iraqi Ministry of Oil, Sahib Bazoun, confirmed on Tuesday (May 12, 2026) “that the oil and gas file between Baghdad and Erbil will not witness complete stability until the oil and gas law is approved within the House of Representatives, noting that there are existing understandings between the federal government and the region regarding the management of the oil file.”

Bazoun said that there is an agreement and a political decision between the two parties, but that enacting the oil and gas law during the current parliamentary session represents the most important step to ensure the stability of the oil relationship and preserve the rights of all parties.

I quote from the article: “The Oil and Gas Law is one of the most prominent controversial laws postponed in Iraq since 2005, as it is related to regulating the management of oil wealth and the distribution of revenues between the federal government, the Kurdistan Region and the producing governorates, amid repeated political and economic demands to resolve it in order to end the disputes related to oil exports and contracts.”

So, do you think getting this law implemented is important for the STABILITY sake of Iraq, as the governor of the CBI Ali al-Alaq keeps telling us they need STABILITY and SECURITY. Yes, I have confirmed with my CBI contact many times this is part of the reason why the reinstatement has not yet gone.

_________________________________________________________

😊 I wanted to bring forward yet another recent article on this same subject matter of the HCL. It is the article titled “THE MOST COMPLEX ISSUE AWAITS RESOLUTION: OIL: THE OIL AND GAS LAW IS THE KEY TO STABILITY BETWEEN BAGHDAD AND ERBIL.”

The spokesman for the Iraqi Ministry of Oil, Sahib Bazoun, confirmed on Tuesday (May 12, 2026) that the oil and gas file between Baghdad and Erbil will not witness complete stability until the oil and gas law is approved within the House of Representatives, noting that there are existing understandings between the federal government and the region regarding the management of the oil file.

Bazoun told Baghdad Today that there is an agreement and a political decision between the two sides, but that enacting the oil and gas law during the current parliamentary session represents the most important step to ensure the stability of the oil relationship and preserve the rights of all parties.

So, again do you think this law is important to getting us the reinstatement?

________________________________________________________

WHAT ELSE IS IN THE NEW?

😊 When the CBI talks, I listen! Meanwhile, in the background the CBI continues to move ahead with the banking reforms. Are all these reforms necessary to reinstate the dinar? I am told by my CBI contact that they certainly can’t hurt but as far as the ‘White Paper” reforms, Iraq is more than ready and financially stable now to reinstate and wanted to do it in January 2026 but was held up due to the election saga. I am told it is the political side that must catch up to the financial side. Here is some good recent news titled “THE CENTRAL BANK OF IRAQ: WE ARE PROCEEDING WITH REFORMING THE BANKING SECTOR AND CALL FOR RELIANCE ON OFFICIAL SOURCES.”

“The Central Bank of Iraq affirmed its continued implementation of the banking sector reform program, as part of its strategic vision to strengthen the financial system and enhance the efficiency of banking institutions in accordance with best practices and international standards. In an official statement, the bank explained that Iraqi banks are continuing to work towards fulfilling the requirements of the second phase of the reform program, which focuses on raising compliance and governance levels, enhancing transparency, and improving institutional performance. This contributes to supporting financial stability and strengthening confidence in the banking sector.

The Central Bank also noted its ongoing efforts to support banks whose access to external transfer channels has been restricted, enabling them to meet the approved regulatory requirements and standards.”

____________________________________________________

😊 As we all should know by now or I am informing you now, if in case you don’t know, that the CBI must be able to manage the exchange rate of the dinar both pre-RV and post-RV. If it can’t manage it now the IMF is not going to let it go back to FOREX. So can they manage it? Remember also because their monetary system is coming out of the harshest of sanctions the CBI still is not yet fully in control of the dinar, as many believe. Yes, they have the power as stated in the constitution, but this does not mean they can exert that ‘full’ power yet until they have proved themselves as a nation capable of it. Thus, seeing what is not going on with the Iranian corruption inside Iraq is a prime example of not showing it fully yet. Do you get it?

In this next article it is revealing to us if they can or can not yet fully control the dinar. It is titled “THE CENTRAL BANK CONTINUES TO STRENGTHEN THE STABILITY OF THE DINAR AND THE SUSTAINABILITY OF THE CASH DOLLAR.”

The Prime Minister’s financial advisor, Mazhar Muhammad Salih, confirmed on Friday that “the stability of the exchange rate is part of the Central Bank’s monetary policy, noting that there are ongoing measures to enhance the stability of the dinar, control liquidity, and ensure the sustainability of cash dollar supplies “.So, this statement tells us there are problems and the CBI must stay on top if it. Remember also because of minor recent sanctions due the election process, dollars were temporarily cut off from the US Aid to Iraq.

Saleh said, in a statement to the official agency followed by Al-Sa’a Network, that “the exchange rate policy and the monetary system are among the exclusive jurisdictions of the monetary authority, according to the Central Bank of Iraq Law No. (56) of 2004, which granted the Central Bank legal independence in formulating and implementing its monetary policies, while subjecting it to accountability before the House of Representatives based on Article (103) of the Constitution of the Republic of Iraq”

He added that “the Central Bank of Iraq adopts a fixed official exchange rate policy as a nominal anchor to achieve general price stability in the long term, maintain monetary balance, and reduce inflationary expectations .”

He stressed that “stabilizing the parallel market (to use the ‘official’ fixed exchange rate) is not achieved  only through increasing the injection of cash dollars for travelers and others, which represents a percentage between 5% and 10% of the total demand for foreign currency, but rather through an integrated package of continuous measures, including effective management of cash liquidity through intervention in the exchange market, controlling and regulating official demand channels for foreign currency, enhancing confidence in institutions and monetary policies, as well as developing the internal commercial and financial infrastructure .”

My conclusion is that the CBI along with help from the Finance Committee can put measures in place to help stabilize the dollar from the parallel market, but they still can not fully control these dollars and the rates above the ‘official’ rate from the paralell market (the black market, which is illegal).

________________________________________________

Let’s keep our prayers alive. There is a deep spiritual dimension at work today bringing about this reset. I believe we are closer than ever for the dinar to get reinstated. But first things first. part of the mess in the US must be cleaned up too.. Then certain laws in Iraq must be passed. By now everyone should be fully aware of these events that caused delays in the currency reform process. This is not rocket science to understand.

What do you think will happen next? (Leave a comment)

Their words not mine…..No Rumors, No Hype, No Opinions ,,,,,

                                             Just the FACTS!

These prophecies are more important now more than ever. They give us the strength, perseverance and hope that a better time is coming and that God’s Hand is at work behind the scenes. If you just take a second even to look around you at these past three election cycles, how can you deny that God is at work? Are you sleeping or what?

It is amazing and there is no other way that these events could have happened the way they turned out. But there is more to come, much, much more, I assure you! Now that God has his biblical David re-elected, we need to pay attention to what He does next.

NOTE: These prophecies just keep getting better and better, giving us HOPE of a brighter future. But the real reason why I listen to them is that we can actually see what God says He will do is taking place right in front of our noses. It is a confirmation to me that God is real and is still with us forever just as in biblical times.

Fr. DON BOSCO EXPOSED THE DARK SECRET BEHIND ISLAM

— And the Truth the World Forgot about the so-called Muslim religion. Fr.Don Bosco, also known as John Bosco, was an Italian Catholic priest and educator, born on August 16, 1815. He founded the Salesian Society in 1859 to help disadvantaged youth,  particularly boys, through education and community service. His teachings emphasized lovekindness, and the importance of education for young people, making him a beloved figure in Catholicism and a patron saint of youth. Don Bosco was canonized in 1934.

CIA WHISTLEBLOWER TESTIFIES ON COVID ‘COVER-UP’

Another COVID lie coverup exposed. What did the prophets tell us –  ‘What can be shaken will be shaken.’ The government owes its citizens the TRUTH!

WHY WON’T OBAMA GO AWAY LIKE ALL THE OTHER PAST PRESIDENTS?

Obama the ‘globalist’ president. Yes, he wants a global government and the US sovereignty gone and I mean gone! He wants the US to follow not lead the world.

This guy is not about ‘America First’ but ‘globalism first’. Can you see how globalism is ruining the planet and is not helping it? Just take a look around you? Just look at the mess in the middle east, then in Europe, the UK, Australia and in the U.S. What the heck is so good about it?

Define globalist: a person who advocates the administering or planning of a political strategy and an economic system, i.e. global governance on a global rather than a national basis. They do not want sovereignty of nations.

And he was a US President? What the….. (WTF)

THEY CALL THIS DEMOCRACY. DEMS JUST GOT CAUGHT…AGAIN

I even question why they call their party the ‘democrat party’ when they are the farthest from being democratic. Remember everything is NOT about what the majority wants. Yes, this what they call democratic. But they are wrong. VERY wrong!

Is about what the US Constitution says on how we should govern. The U.S. is a”Constitutional Republic’ NOT a democracy. We only use the democratic principles to select our leaders, when that is done, we want them then is to uphold the US Constitution which is our the guiding laws of the land. We donot want them to use their power we have given them then to try to turn us away from what our founding fathers wanted and to change to a pure ‘Democracy’, which is easily manipulated as you cannot serve all the people all the time is a pure democracy.

And this is where the democrat party does not get it. This is how they will try to manipulate the voters minds into believing we must go to a pure Democracy. You can hear it when they talk and make their grand speeches about democracy. We hear then screaming all the time about democracy, democracy, democracy but this is only brainwashing you to get you to go along with their narrative of a pure democracy away from what the founding fathers wanted. They did not choose a Constitutional Republic for nothing. There were hundreds of years of background and corruption behind their decision. They did not want America to go the way of the past in Europe.

I challenge everyone to go research why the founding fathers wanted this ‘Constitutional Republic’ and NOT a pure ‘Democracy”.

TRUMP BACKS FEDERAL GAS TAX SUSPENSION

Will this eventually lead to all taxes being taken off of gasolene permanently including local, state and federal gas taxes which are nearly 75% of the cost of gas at the pump?

Anything will help but let’s try a lot better than that. How about the state tax and other taxes on gas at the pump. Has this become an ‘essential’ item. Should we even be taxing gasolene in the first place. Hey… who thought of this tax anyhow? What a brilliant idea!

HOW DID GASOLENE TAXES START ANYHOW?

WHITMER UNDER FIRE AFTER APPOINTEE INDICTED

To understand what is really going on in Michigan we must first realize that the Federal government is finally auditing all the state’s election processes. This is something that is the legal right of the Federal government. States, as we know, have the US Constitutional right to run their own election process. This does not mean it can be corrupt and fraudulent. With all the allegations of these many past elections, it is time for the Federal government to step in and conduct these audits. It is way overdue. So why are the democrats fighting it so much? Are they afraid of ‘pandora’s box” and what will be found inside of it?

But there is more. As these BLUE states refuse to cooperate with the Federal government more and more corruption then surfaces and we begin to see patterns as to why they don’t want the Federal govt nosing around in their business. Yes, this corruption has gone on for so long it is a way of life now and they actually think they are entitled to it. How dare the Federal government (under Trump) audit them, they say. Yes, once again using the Trump narrative as their lame excuse for not wanting oversight and accountability.

The level of all this corruption is just blowing my mind. I never thought it was this bad. But did God not tell us it was and they He is going to clean it up.

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer is facing growing scrutiny after explosive reports tied one of her political allies and appointees, Fay Beydoun, to a controversial $20 million taxpayer-funded grant now under criminal investigation.

Beydoun — a Whitmer donor, fundraiser host, and MEDC appointee — allegedly received massive state funding through a nonprofit connected to the “Global Link” program before investigators began digging into where the money went and how the grant was approved. Critics are now asking:

1.how did a politically connected Whitmer ally secure such a huge earmark,

2.and who inside Michigan government signed off on it?

The controversy has sparked major questions about political favoritism, oversight failures, and whether insiders within the Whitmer administration helped pave the way for the funding. Reports also suggest investigators are examining communications involving Whitmer’s office, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, and figures tied to the grant approval process.

Someone’s going to Jail!

THIS IS SOMETHING THAT HAPPENS IN COMMUNIST AND SOCIALIST COUNTRIES

Incidentally Washington also just passed a state income tax of 9% plus. Washington used to be one of the tax free state. The legislature did not vote on a referendum to the people for this tax. The state supreme court ruled and allowed this vagrant violation of constitutionality.

TIME FOR THIS TO BE UNLEASHED ON IRAN, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

COULD REP. JAYAPAL GUILTY OF TREASON?

“She CONFESSED to Assisting Cuba AGAINST the U.S. embargo” – Calls to ARREST Rep. Jayapal for Helping Cuba. Who the hell do these representatives think they are? It is unbelievable what this democratic party has come to.

Jayapal is an ultra-leftist liberal who has been an obstructionist all a long for anything that makes common sense for the American people and can actually help America’s economy grow. She believes in very high taxes, this Robin Hood stuff of taking from the rich and giving to the poor. Yes, from your pocket to theirs, because most of it never even gets to the programs intended for the poor anyhow and we have seen this time and time again with all these recent corruption scandals now being exposed. This could be her big scandal too but I think there is much more to her corruption only it has not yet surfaced fully. The sopt light has now been turned on to her and so let’s see what she is really up to and why. Is she even on the side of America or on the side of social communists. She has the AOC syndrome, it’s call ‘ignorance’. Does she even know how blockages work and the power of the president to impose them?

ABDUL HADI SETS A DATE FOR SUBMITTING THE NAMES OF CANDIDATES FOR MINISTERIAL PORTFOLIOS IN ALI AL-ZIDI’S GOVERNMENT.

On Friday, Uday Abdul-Hadi, a member of the Coordination Framework, set the date for political blocs to submit the names of their candidates for ministerial portfolios in the government of Prime Minister-designate Ali al-Zaidi.

Abdul-Hadi told Al-Maalouma that “Prime Minister-designate Ali al-Zaidi’s submission of the ministerial program to the Speaker of Parliament yesterday represented the first step in the process of forming the government.” He explained that “the next anticipated step is for the political blocs and lists to submit the names of their candidates for ministerial portfolios, based on their electoral entitlements.”

He added that “the names of the candidates will be submitted at the beginning of next week, with more than one name for each ministerial portfolio, from which al-Zaidi will choose the most suitable candidate.” He emphasized that “so far, there are no disagreements hindering this process.”

Abdul-Hadi indicated that “the issue of the sovereign ministries is witnessing serious steps toward resolution in the coming hours,” expecting that “the lists of proposed names will be ready shortly, paving the way for the completion of the government formation.”

A POLITICAL AGREEMENT HAS BEEN REACHED TO PASS THE AL-ZAYDI GOVERNMENT THIS WEEK.

A parliamentary source revealed on Saturday that there is a political agreement to pass the government of Prime Minister-designate Ali Faleh al-Zaidi during this week, before a number of MPs head to Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj pilgrimage.

The source told Shafaq News Agency that the Speaker of Parliament “has not yet received any official notification from the government regarding the submission of the cabinet,” explaining that “if the notification arrives, the date of the session will be set and members of parliament will be notified 24 hours before the confidence vote session.”

He added that “there is an agreement between the parliament’s leadership and the heads of the political blocs to pass the government formation during this week, before a group of MPs head to Saudi Arabia next week to perform the Hajj rituals.”

Prime Minister-designate Ali Faleh al-Zaidi submitted the ministerial program for the new government to Speaker of Parliament Hebat Hamad al-Halbousi last Thursday (May 7), in preparation for circulating it to members of Parliament for review, with the names of the government formation to be submitted later.

On April 27, 2026, President Nizar Amidi tasked Al-Zaidi with forming the new government after he was nominated by the Coordination Framework to succeed Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani.

Al-Jarjari said in a press statement that: “The House of Representatives has completed all preparations for holding the session to vote on the cabinet,” indicating that “it has been customary in previous government voting sessions to send invitations to political and diplomatic leaders, and things will become clearer tomorrow.”

He added that “tomorrow will see the start of sending invitations to the political leaders, the coordinating framework and the political council,” stressing that “we are waiting for the Speaker of Parliament to set a date for the session, whether it will be on Monday or Tuesday.”

WASHINGTON TIGHTENS ITS CONDITIONS, BAGHDAD WAVERS, AND THE FACTIONS BECOME A STUMBLING BLOCK FOR THE NEW GOVERNMENT.

(Mnt Goat: Ghee Whiz they only had 5 months to deal with them and decide what to do, but you know Iraq and these stuborn Arabs.)

In this context, the Friday prayer leader of Najaf, Sadr al-Din al-Qubanchi, described these demands as “blatant interference” in the Iraqi decision, calling on the coordinating framework and the prime minister-designate to take a position that preserves what he described as “the independence of the state.”

These developments coincided with sharp American criticism of what Washington considers to be “ambiguity” in the relationship between the Iraqi state and some armed factions, as the incoming US administration demands a clear declaration confirming that these groups are not affiliated with official state institutions.

Al-Qabbani linked these pressures to what he described as a state of “political confusion” within parliament, criticizing the large number of MPs who traveled to Mecca for Hajj at a time when the country is going through sensitive periods related to the formation of the government and the approval of the ministerial program.

In the international context, a report issued by Foreign Policy magazine, which was followed by (Al-Mada), concluded that Iraq has become closer to a “fragile state” due to political divisions, the influence of armed factions and foreign interventions, noting that the country is stuck between intertwined regional and international pressures.

According to the report, the escalation of attacks and regional tensions, especially between the United States and Iran, has had a direct impact on the Iraqi interior, at a time when the incoming government faces complex challenges related to sovereignty and controlling weapons outside state institutions.

The report also noted that armed factions linked to Iran have become a key player in the Iraqi scene, given their continued political and military presence, which puts the next government in front of a thorny equation between external pressures and internal balances.

For his part, US Republican Party member Malik Francis said that the Trump administration is dealing cautiously with Prime Minister-designate Ali al-Zaidi, focusing on issues of armed influence, energy stability, and limiting Iranian expansion within Iraqi state institutions.

Inside Iraq, the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, called for a reformulation of the role of armed factions and their transformation into formations with a humanitarian character, in a move that sparked widespread political controversy about the future of those groups within the state.

In light of these developments, Prime Minister-designate Ali al-Zaidi continues his efforts to form his government within the constitutional deadline, amid escalating pressure from internal and external parties, making the issue of the next government one of the most sensitive and complex issues in the current political phase.

AL-SADR SETS 6 CONDITIONS FOR THE NEXT GOVERNMENT AND CALLS FOR THE DISBANDING OF ARMED FACTIONS.

(Mnt Goat: I have been waiting for al-Sadr to speak up about this election and these factions. This is a very important step and show the national consensus is to disband them. Didn’t Al-Sudani tell us that too 5 months ago?)

Al-Sadr stressed that any party that rejects this transformation will be considered “outlaw”. Al-Sadr expressed his readiness to dissolve the “Promised Day Brigade” and hand over the “Peace Brigades” to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces as a step to strengthen state sovereignty.

The Shiite leader expressed his categorical rejection of a return to political power-sharing, stressing his rejection of the “perfumer’s mix,” and calling for a move away from ministerial formations based on power-sharing, and the exclusion of any party that has an armed wing from the cabinet.

He also called for the formation of a government that meets the demands of the Iraqi people, free from partisan pressures.

Al-Sadr set a maximum time limit of three months for the immediate start of suppressing corruption and holding accountable those involved in major cases, most notably what he described as the “deal of the century”.

In his statement, Al-Sadr emphasized the “neither Eastern nor Western” approach, working tirelessly for the true independence of Iraq from all foreign interference.

Strengthening foreign relations within frameworks that preserve Iraq’s prestige, while opening up to the Arab, Islamic and international environment, provided that there is no interference in internal affairs.

To ensure that no one is involved in power-sharing, al-Sadr said, “We do not accept the presence of any individual from the Shiite national movement in the cabinet… and none of their ministers represent us.”

Al-Sadr concluded his statement by emphasizing that the goal of these steps is to elevate Iraq and its people, who have long suffered from the ravages of war, placing the ball in the court of the person tasked with forming the government and other political forces.

EXPERT WARNS IRAQ IS BECOMING AN “ACCOMPLICE STATE” IN IRANIAN OIL SMUGGLING – URGENT

Economic expert Ziad al-Hashemi warned on Friday (May 8, 2026) of the dangers of Iraq becoming a “complicit state” in Iranian oil smuggling operations, indicating that the continuation of this involvement will put the official Iraqi regime under severe international and financial pressure.

Al-Hashemi stated in a post on his Facebook page, which was followed by “Baghdad Today”, that “the US Treasury’s punishment of the Iraqi Deputy Oil Minister on charges of facilitating the forgery of official documents to change the identity of Iranian oil to Iraqi and smuggle it through the (shadow fleet), is not the first event of its kind, pointing to previous pressures exerted by Washington on the SOMO company to replace managers who were involved in issuing Iraqi certificates of origin and documents used for the same purpose.

He explained that the results of this official involvement with smuggling networks will be “very bad” at the level of the regime and the economy, as international accusations confirm the infiltration of the Iraqi government and the use of state resources to circumvent international sanctions, noting that legitimate Iraqi oil has become “suspicious” in global markets, giving Western frigates a justification to stop ships and check their papers, which causes disruption and an increase in transportation costs.

The economist added that international buyers may demand higher price discounts or complex legal guarantees if they doubt the accuracy of the documents or the possibility of shipments being mixed up, stressing that sanctions may expand to include transport companies, brokers, ship owners, banks, and even other government entities if an institutional pattern of collusion is proven.

Al-Hashemi pointed out that Iraq may face greater financial and banking restrictions, through the tightening of international banks and insurance companies in dealing with Iraqi oil deals and the increase in the cost of marine insurance, indicating that the Ministry of Oil and the SOMO company will be among the most affected, given that their work depends on reputation and reliability as an official source of crude oil.

Al-Hashemi concluded by saying that the Ministry of Oil’s denial alone is not enough, but rather requires an independent audit of the shipments’ route and the chains of intermediaries, and the exposure of those involved, warning of a strategic danger that threatens the reputation of Iraqi oil, the country’s relationship with the global financial system, and the state’s ability to prove its authority over the energy sector away from the influence of political networks.

THE CENTRAL BANK CONTINUES TO STRENGTHEN THE STABILITY OF THE DINAR AND THE SUSTAINABILITY OF THE CASH DOLLAR.

The Prime Minister’s financial advisor, Mazhar Muhammad Salih, confirmed on Friday that the stability of the exchange rate is part of the Central Bank’s monetary policy, noting that there are ongoing measures to enhance the stability of the dinar, control liquidity, and ensure the sustainability of cash dollar supplies .

Saleh said, in a statement to the official agency followed by Al-Sa’a Network, that “the exchange rate policy and the monetary system are among the exclusive jurisdictions of the monetary authority, according to the Central Bank of Iraq Law No. (56) of 2004, which granted the Central Bank legal independence in formulating and implementing its monetary policies, while subjecting it to accountability before the House of Representatives based on Article (103) of the Constitution of the Republic of Iraq

 .”

He added that “the Central Bank of Iraq adopts a fixed official exchange rate policy as a nominal anchor to achieve general price stability in the long term, maintain monetary balance, and reduce inflationary expectations .”

He pointed out that “despite the independence of monetary policy, the management of the exchange rate is not done in isolation from coordination with the executive authority under the constitution, especially coordination with public finance in implementing fiscal policy, as the official rate is, in part, a contractual rate between monetary and fiscal policies .”

He pointed out that “the Central Bank informed the Ministry of Finance, late last year, that the exchange rate adopted for the purposes of preparing the draft federal budget law for 2026 would be around (1300) dinars per dollar, which reflects the continued adherence to the fixed official rate adopted since February 2023 until today, and is an important indicator of stability for the market and its expectations .”

Regarding the parallel exchange market, Saleh explained that “adopting financing foreign trade through official channels and at a fixed exchange rate has contributed to achieving important results in reducing the impact of black market fluctuations on price stability, most notably that the official market contributes to absorbing more than 90% of the real demand for the dollar, reducing demand in the parallel market to marginal limits, enhancing monetary balance, and improving control over liquidity levels by controlling their levels .”

He stressed that “stabilizing the parallel market is not achieved only through increasing the injection of cash dollars for travelers and others, which represents a percentage between 5% and 10% of the total demand for foreign currency, but rather through an integrated package of continuous measures, including effective management of cash liquidity through intervention in the exchange market, controlling and regulating official demand channels for foreign currency, enhancing confidence in institutions and monetary policies, as well as developing the internal commercial and financial infrastructure .”

He pointed out that “the sustainability of supplying cash dollars remains a key factor in stabilizing the parallel market and the noise that accompanies it, in accordance with well-thought-out supply plans that meet the needs of the local market, while adhering to national and international institutional compliance standards related to the use of foreign currency, and combating money laundering and the financing of illegal activities .

THE CENTRAL BANK OF IRAQ: WE ARE PROCEEDING WITH REFORMING THE BANKING SECTOR AND CALL FOR RELIANCE ON OFFICIAL SOURCES.

The Central Bank of Iraq affirmed its continued implementation of the banking sector reform program, as part of its strategic vision to strengthen the financial system and enhance the efficiency of banking institutions in accordance with best practices and international standards.

The Central Bank also noted its ongoing efforts to support banks whose access to external transfer channels has been restricted, enabling them to meet the approved regulatory requirements and standards.

It stated that the bank is currently in the process of contracting with an independent and specialized auditing firm to conduct the final evaluation of banks that have met the criteria of the first phase of the reform program. This evaluation will ensure their compliance with external transfer requirements and relevant international standards.

The statement added that these measures aim to allow compliant banks to regain access to foreign currency transfer channels, including the euro, the UAE dirham, the Chinese yuan, and other approved international currencies.

The Central Bank of Iraq affirmed that these steps are part of a comprehensive reform program aimed at strengthening the soundness of the banking sector and consolidating confidence in it, thereby serving the interests of the national economy and supporting the integration of the Iraqi banking sector into the global financial system.

Regarding information circulating in the media and on social media platforms, the Central Bank of Iraq stressed the necessity of relying exclusively on official Central Bank of Iraq channels for news and information related to the banking reform program, namely its official website and verified social media accounts, while avoiding reliance on unofficial or unreliable sources.

The Central Bank of Iraq reiterated its commitment to continuing the implementation of the banking reform program with full transparency, in order to achieve its aspirations for developing the banking sector and enhancing its presence and integration into the global financial system.

TRUMP: WHAT HAPPENED IN IRAQ IS “VERY GOOD” AND I’M HAPPY WITH THE PRIME MINISTER-DESIGNATE.

US President Donald Trump said on Saturday that recent developments in Iraq were “very good,” expressing his satisfaction with the selection of the Iraqi prime minister-designate, in a further sign of Washington’s support for the new Iraqi leadership.

Trump said in a press statement followed by “Iraq Observer”, “What happened in Iraq is very good and I am happy with the prime minister-designate”, adding: “We are supposed to receive a response from Iran tonight.”

Trump had invited Iraqi Prime Minister-designate al-Zaidi to visit Washington following the formation of the new government, stressing the US administration’s desire to strengthen bilateral relations and security and economic cooperation between the two countries.

The US president also stressed his country’s support for the formation of an Iraqi government capable of building a better future for Iraq, free from terrorism.

Al-Zaidi is the first independent Iraqi prime minister from outside the ruling political class since 2003.

DISARMING FACTIONS AMID ESCALATING US PRESSURE.

The Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper, quoting Iraqi political sources, revealed the formation of a high-level Iraqi committee tasked with preparing an executive project for disarming armed factions, in preparation for presenting it to American officials in the coming days, amid escalating American pressure on Baghdad regarding the issue of weapons and Iranian influence within Iraq.

According to the sources, the committee held unannounced meetings during the past period with leaders of armed factions to discuss mechanisms for disarmament and reintegration of some elements into the civilian and security state institutions, but some of those meetings witnessed tension and objections from parties that refuse to give up their weapons.

The information indicated that the committee is operating under a mandate from forces within the coordination framework, at a time when political warnings are increasing that the anticipated government headed by Prime Minister-designate Ali Faleh Kazem al-Zaidi may face major challenges in implementing reforms related to the issue of weapons and financial resources, which Washington accuses some Iraqi parties of smuggling to Iran.

According to the report, the US administration has shown support for al-Zaidi since his appointment, but it links the continuation of this support to making tangible changes related to reducing the influence of armed factions within Iraqi state institutions.

The newspaper also quoted officials and political sources as saying that the proposed project includes the disarmament of heavy and medium weapons and the restructuring of some formations of the Popular Mobilization Forces, amid doubts about the ability of the next government to actually implement these steps, with the likelihood that some of the current moves are an attempt to absorb American pressure and buy time.

In contrast, sources representing a number of armed factions confirmed their refusal to hand over weapons, believing that American pressure would not push them to back down from their positions or change the existing power equations.

In parallel, an informed source revealed an agreement between forces within the coordination framework and the prime minister-designate to form a special committee to restrict weapons to the state, which includes, in addition to al-Zaydi, Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, and the head of the Badr Organization, Hadi al-Amiri.

The source explained that the committee will develop practical mechanisms to regulate the weapons file and reintegrate some elements of the factions into civilian or security institutions, in line with the requirements of the current stage and the political and security challenges facing the country.

WALL STREET: QAANI MANEUVERS TO KEEP FACTIONS ALIVE AND AVOID DISARMING THEM

Washington is pressuring al-Zaidi amid anticipation of the confidence vote session.

Wall Street: Qaani maneuvers to keep factions alive and avoid disarming them

The commander of Iran’s Quds Force, Esmail Qaani, urged Iraqi officials he met during his visit to Baghdad to avoid excluding militia leaders from the government or attempting to disarm them.

Citing current and former US officials, the newspaper indicated that al-Zaidi had previously faced similar US pressure, as he owns a bank that the Treasury Department banned from dollar transactions in 2024 due to suspected dealings with a militia leader. The newspaper added that al-Zaidi is considered a compromise choice after Trump threatened to cut off US aid to Iraq when former Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki was nominated following months of political negotiations.

The newspaper also quoted Iraqi officials as saying that the United States and Iran had inquired about the nomination before it was announced. They indicated that al-Zaidi had received phone calls from Trump and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. They added that Esmail Qaani, during a visit to Baghdad the day before yesterday, urged Iraqi officials not to exclude militia leaders from the government or attempt to disarm these groups.

THE “FRAMEWORK” WAS SURPRISED BY THE EXTENT OF AMERICAN SUPPORT… DID IT GET INVOLVED IN NOMINATING AL-ZAIDI?

The general rushes to Baghdad to salvage the “quiet infiltration”.

Al-Zaidi now finds himself in a highly complex situation, caught between American pressure to remove the factions from key state institutions and escalating Iranian pressure exerted through armed groups that reject any talk of dismantling their influence or disarming.

Why did the general return?
In less than a month, Ismail Qaani, commander of the Quds Force in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, returned to Baghdad, amid indications that the previously “quiet” understandings within the “coordination framework” have faltered.
A Shiite politician close to the negotiations says, “Things have descended into chaos,” attributing this to “the tug-of-war between Tehran and Washington.”
Speaking to Al-Mada on condition of anonymity, he adds, “There have been inexplicable changes in the Iranian position regarding the government formation arrangements, and at a surprising time.”

He continues, “Iran was apparently satisfied with the formula upon which the groundwork for the new government was laid, but now it has returned to objecting, without any clear reasons.”

Qani’s visits to Iraq are usually kept secret for security reasons, especially after the recent war. News of the visit typically circulates after he has left the country, and announcements are often made at the weekend.

The Shiite politician believes that Washington exerted “unusual pressure” regarding the participation of Iran’s allies in the new government, causing confusion within the “coordination framework,” especially after the extent of support al-Zaidi enjoys from the United States and other countries became clear.

“Trump is lying!”
Walid al-Hayali, a leader in the Badr Organization headed by Hadi al-Amiri, says, “Talk of Trump supporting Ali al-Zaidi is untrue, and there is no real evidence of it.”
He adds, in a statement to Al-Mada, “Trump views Iraq through the lens of its wealth and economy, and perhaps he saw in al-Zaidi a suitable financial figure, so he tried to ride the wave and suggest that he was behind his nomination, but this is inaccurate.”
However, he points to the existence of “a team working behind the scenes” that helped al-Zaidi build relationships with Washington and other countries.

Trump had said last Saturday evening that what had happened in Iraq recently was “satisfactory,” emphasizing that he was “happy with the selection of the prime minister-designate.”

(Mnt Goat: Trump also said support is conditional upon disarming the militias)

Nevertheless, there are still no clear indications that al-Zaidi intends to confront the armed factions, as he did not meet with some of these groups during the recent rounds of negotiations, even though they were among the forces that supported his nomination within the “coordination framework.” Meanwhile
, leaks are increasing regarding the existence of a tripartite committee concerned with the disarmament of the factions, comprising Mohammed al-Sudani, Hadi al-Amiri, and al-Zaidi.

Political analyst Wael al-Rikabi, close to Maliki’s team, says that “the pressure from the parties to divide the ministries, along with American pressure to exclude the factions, may lead to postponing the vote on the government until after the Eid holiday,” meaning until the end of May or the beginning of June.
Behind the scenes of the negotiations, a fierce Shiite struggle is unfolding over the Ministry of Oil, which, according to the norms within the “coordination framework,” is supposed to go to the largest bloc, i.e., to Sudani’s share.

However, according to political sources, Nouri al-Maliki is still clinging to the ministry and refusing to relinquish it at the last minute, despite the blow dealt to his candidate for the position, Ali Ma’araj al-Bahadli, the deputy oil minister.
Last Thursday, the US Treasury Department imposed sanctions on al-Bahadli, along with two Iraqi factions, on charges of supporting Iran.

Last year, Al-Mada newspaper, citing informed sources, revealed that parties close to Iran had obstructed agreements to resume oil exports through the Turkish port of Ceyhan, which later led to a severe crisis after the closure of the Strait of Hormuz during the 40-day war.

Walid al-Hayali believes that al-Zaydi must open the corruption files of the past three years, address the oil export crises, and prevent a repeat of the Hormuz crisis.
He asserts that the “coordination framework” was not involved in al-Zaydi’s selection, just as it “was not involved previously in Mustafa al-Kadhimi’s,” adding that the framework “later regretted al-Kadhimi’s removal from power.”
Al-Hayali holds the Sudanese responsible for stirring up several political crises, especially after he began forming a large political alliance that participated in the elections in violation of the conditions of the Shiite alliance.

WASHINGTON IMPOSES ITS CONDITIONS ON THE NEW GOVERNMENT AND USURPS IRAQI DECISION-MAKING POWER.

(Mnt Goat: That’s fine but you also must include Iran in the equation too in that they interfere a hell of a lot more than the US. If you want one to get out, you must also have the other do the same. That is true sovereignty not just political rhetoric by Iran against the US wanting Iraq to be free.)

An informed source confirmed on Sunday that there are American conditions related to the formation of the new Iraqi government, which represent direct interference in the process of its formation, and affect the nature of sovereign decision-making and the distribution of positions within the state.

He added that among the conditions were also “restricting weapons to the state, moving towards digitizing a large part of the Iraqi dinar, stopping government appointments from special grades to other jobs, as well as choosing a Kurdish foreign minister close to the American administration, expanding relations with Syria in various fields, and supporting the Basra-Aqaba pipeline and the international development road.”

In the same context, Dr. Abbas Al-Jubouri, director of the Rafed Center for Strategic Studies, considered these conditions to be a clear interference in Iraqi affairs, saying that “the United States has reached the stage of directly influencing the formation of the Iraqi government, the distribution of positions, and even the nature of the political decision.”

Al-Jubouri explained that “American intervention infringes on Iraqi sovereignty, especially with its control over the airspace and some decision-making processes, in addition to its financial influence through the Federal Reserve.”

He added that “the condition of appointing a Kurdish foreign minister close to the American administration represents interference in the distribution of internal positions, and confirms the existence of a clear American project in Iraq,” calling for the need to preserve the independence of national decision-making.

Al-Jubouri stressed that “Iraq needs a sovereign and independent decision, free from external pressures, and that the current stage requires a national stance that strengthens the independence of the political decision.”

AL-SHAMMARI: ATTEMPTS TO BRING BACK CERTAIN FIGURES WILL NOT SUCCEED, AND THE CURRENT STAGE REQUIRES NEW FACES.

MP Mohammed Al-Shammari affirmed on Tuesday that any attempts to rearrange the political landscape in order to impose certain figures back on the forefront will not succeed, pointing to the need to move beyond the names that consumed the previous phase and caused a decline in public trust.

Al-Shammari told Al-Maalouma News Agency that “attempts to rearrange political alliances to bring some figures back to the forefront will not succeed unless they are based on a real project that serves the Sunni and Iraqi public in general,” indicating that “the public no longer accepts repeating experiences that have only resulted in political crises.”

He added that “the next stage needs new faces capable of overcoming the disputes and crises that have weakened citizens’ confidence in the political process,” noting that “the insistence on recycling some controversial names represents an obstacle to the stability of legislative and executive entitlements.”

It is worth noting that the political arena is witnessing intense activity by some dismissed and former leaders attempting to regain their influence through political pressure or coalition maneuvering. This is being met with rejection from political and parliamentary forces that insist on changing the approach of unilateral leadership.

IRANIAN FOREIGN MINISTRY: WE POSSESS A TREMENDOUS CAPACITY FOR MILITARY SURPRISE AND WILL NOT SURRENDER TO AMERICAN DEMANDS.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry confirmed on Wednesday that Iran possesses a tremendous capacity for surprise in the military field, stressing that Tehran will not surrender to the extreme and unfair American demands.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei said in a press statement that “the blockade is an act of war,” noting that “Iran has exercised maximum restraint so far” in the face of the pressures it is under. He added that “Iran and the Sultanate of Oman are the guarantors of safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz,” explaining that “Iran’s actions in the Strait of Hormuz are not merely (pressure cards) for bargaining.”

The Foreign Ministry spokesman stated that “Iran’s focus at this stage of the negotiations is on ending the war,” while warning that “anyone who dares to set foot on Iranian soil will deeply regret it.”

(Mnt Goat: Again, this news only shows the Iranian arrogance and stubbornness. These terrorists just don’t want to let go. The only way is with force. What do the prophets tell us will ultimately happen?)

  1. My opinion is in agreement that nothing happens until the “Iran Action” is over. Thanks to the US efforts, it appears that the military capabilities of Iran have been reduced to nothing more than harassing one off strikes. Iran has no formal Air Force, Air Defense System, Navy, and is a leaderless political and military organization. Bahj and Red Guard are ineffectual, leaderless, and without weapon flow, rife with desertion. My belief is that the Maliki-Sudani issue was a convenient covering delay until the “war” could be prosecuted and goals completed. An ancillary result of this ‘war’ is the adjacent elimination of the Iranian paramilitary organizations with Iraq. A new and effective government, parliament, presidency, and prime minister could not be established until elimination of the Iranian threat both outside of and within Iraq. Again, nothing happens until the Iranian action is over.

Shortly after this action culminates, maybe announced tonight, Iraq appoints a new President, selects the new Prime Minister, and reconstitutes the Parliament. When settled in with this new government, we will see the delete the zero project, and the RI and movement to the Fx. A good completion date, will be sometime in May.

  2. Pay attention to the third option, the QE option. This is not talking about printing currency in this case. Governments do not use the phrase quantitative easing” in a country like Iraq unless they’re signaling a structural monetary shift. QE is not a normal budget‑gap tool in a commodity‑backed, reserve‑heavy, cash‑dominant economy. It’s a transition mechanism. Not a full announcement, but absolutely a monetary‑architecture signal, and it’s stronger than it looks at first glance.

Advisor to the Prime Minister: A three-pronged plan to secure salaries in light of global challengesp

    Baghdad – Waa – Nassar Al-Hajj

The Financial Advisor to the Prime Minister, Mazhar Mohammed Saleh, confirmed on Tuesday that the current policy ensures the continuation of salaries and social welfare grants, and while identifying 3 main sources to ensure the sustainability of salaries and social spending, he indicated that Iraq is capable of facing global financial and economic shocks efficiently and effectively. To receive more news, subscribe to our Telegram channel

Saleh told the Iraqi News Agency (WAA): “The sustainability of the monthly expenses of salaries, wages, pensions and social welfare allocations, in light of the current economic challenges and global fluctuations due to geopolitical risks, is a top priority, and relies on three main sources of revenues that ensure the protection of the living and social stability of citizens on a regular monthly basis.”

“The first source is to maximize non-oil revenues, as the liquidity of the collection of these revenues is ensured by intensifying the electronic means of payment, which enhances the state’s own financial resources and reduces total dependence on oil revenues,” he said.

“The second source is the expansion of the export base of crude oil and petroleum products, and this policy includes the use of traditional channels for export whenever possible, including land and sea transport through neighboring countries, in accordance with the current global oil prices, which have witnessed an increase of nearly 70% compared to their levels before the outbreak of tensions in the Gulf region and the Middle East,” Saleh added, pointing out that “this expansion of exports, in light of the high prices of crude oil, contributes to enhancing the revenues necessary to cover social spending and ensure stability Local market”.

“The third source of revenue is the adoption of a pattern of quantitative easing policies, through monetary and fiscal coordination, where coordination between monetary policy and fiscal policy is intensified, which is supported by efficient foreign monetary reserves, to ensure the stability of the national economy and the sustainability of public social spending, including the payment of salaries, pensions and social welfare allocations without any interruption,” he said.

“The continuation of these integrated policies ensures the protection of monthly employment income, enhances economic and social stability in the country, and makes Iraq able to face global financial and economic shocks efficiently and effectively,” Saleh concluded.

  3. Allow me to expand upon the idea above:

    1. “Quantitative easing” in Iraq does not mean Western‑style bond buying

In a dollarized, cash‑heavy, reserve‑backed economy like Iraq, QE cannot mean:

    • expanding the monetary base
    • purchasing government securities
    • injecting new liquidity

    Iraq doesn’t operate that system.

So, when the advisor uses the phrase “adoption of a pattern of quantitative easing policies”, he is not talking about printing money. He is talking about a liquidity‑injection event that does not increase debt — which is exactly what a redenomination + cash‑absorption cycle accomplishes.

     2. The “third source of revenue” is not revenue — it’s a monetary‑architecture shift

The text frames it as a revenue source, which is the tell. A currency restructure produces “revenue” in three ways:

    A. Hoarded cash returns to banks

This is the big one. The delete‑the‑zeros project forces:

    • mattress cash
    • black‑market stockpiles
    • unreported business cash
    • informal‑sector liquidity

…to return to the banking system.

That is a massive liquidity injection without borrowing, taxation, or printing.

    B. Seigniorage efficiency increases

New note structure = lower printing cost + higher velocity.

    C. Parallel‑market leakage collapses

Once the old notes expire, the informal FX channels lose their fuel.

This is why the advisor dares to call it a “source of revenue.” It’s not revenue in the budgetary sense — it’s monetary recapture.

     3. The key phrase: “supported by efficient foreign monetary reserves”

This is the part that ties it directly to a currency‑unit change. The report states that QE‑style coordination is:

“supported by efficient foreign monetary reserves”

Foreign reserves are only relevant to QE in Iraq when:

    • defending a new exchange structure
    • stabilizing a redenomination
    • managing the transition window
    • absorbing volatility during note replacement

    This is classic pre‑restructure language.

    4. Why this matches the delete‑the‑zeros project specifically

The delete‑the‑zeros project has four operational goals:

    1. Pull hoarded cash into banks
    2. Reset the note structure
    3. Improve monetary transmission
    4. Reduce cash‑based leakage and smuggling

    The advisor’s third source describes:

    • monetary–fiscal coordination
    • liquidity stabilization
    • reliance on foreign reserves
    • sustainability of salaries
    • protection against shocks

    That is the redenomination playbook.

     5. The advisor is giving the public the “soft announcement”

    He cannot say:

“We are preparing to delete the zeros.”

    So he says:

“quantitative easing policies… supported by foreign reserves… ensuring stability and sustainability of salaries”

This is the exact language governments use when they are:

    • preparing the public
    • normalizing the concept
    • signaling readiness
    • framing the restructure as a stability tool

He’s not talking about printing money. He’s talking about recapturing liquidity through currency architecture.

     Bottom line

Yes — the third option is a direct reference to the currency‑restructure mechanism, specifically:

    • delete‑the‑zeros
    • forced return of hoarded cash
    • banking‑system liquidity flush
    • monetary‑fiscal coordination
    • reserve‑backed transition stability

It’s not explicit, but it’s unmistakably the same architecture we’ve been tracking.

    1. Saleh’s “QE” mentions caught my eye, too. I’ve thought about “QE in Iraq” a great deal but I couldn’t make it make sense — until I read these remarks from wciapetta! Saleh could only be referring to a reval-and-redenomination architectural event. Thanks for this important contribution!

Whatever Trump does to Iran, it will stop short of doing the job as the Bible says Iran aligns with Turkey and Russia and others in the the Ezekiel 38-39 battle against Israel, which God intervenes on behalf of Israel, that said. This is a long process in Iraq that maybe takes a couple of years. One thing I have learned is short term solutions take several months to happen I Iraq. Regarding the Prime Minister’ship, Al-Moussawi said that “the coordination framework is not with Nuri Al-Maliki or Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, but the establishment of mechanisms for the selection of candidates, based on national acceptability, non-controversy and acceptance of the religious authority and the international community,” stressing that “our position is firm with the decision of the framework to proceed with the vote on the candidate of the prime minister regardless of participation in the government or not.”

  11. ERBIL, Kurdistan Region – Farhad Atroushi, the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP)-affiliated deputy speaker of the Iraqi parliament, on Friday expressed his “disapproval” of the agenda for the legislature’s upcoming session scheduled for Saturday to elect Iraq’s next president, citing the lack of “national consensus on a candidate” for the post traditionally held by the Kurds.

In a statement, Atroushi said, “Starting from our national responsibility and our keenness to ensure the stability of the political process and the democratic path in the country, we announce our disapproval of the agenda for the session on Saturday, April 11, dedicated to electing the President of the Republic of Iraq.”

He attributed the move to “the absence of national and political consensus regarding electoral entitlements,” urging “our partners among the political leaders to allow for further understanding and serious dialogue” to “transcend differences and reach a national consensus on a presidential candidate who enjoys broad national acceptance, far from the policy of imposing a fait accompli.”

Atroushi’s remarks come after President Masoud Barzani, leader of the KDP, warned on Saturday that rushing to elect a president could lead to “counterproductive” results and “deeper divisions,” stressing the need for further consultations among political components.

“We believe that the current call for a parliamentary session to elect the President of the Republic, and subsequently appoint the prime minister, requires further consultation,” the preeminent Kurdish leader said.

Experts told a Sumerian correspondent that the success of this step is not tied to formal procedures alone, but rather to the government’s ability to support it with genuine financial and monetary reforms that restore confidence in the Iraqi dinar and ensure sustainable stability in the market. 21. My observation on the following report from today. It is actual cash being withheld, even though 95% of Iraq’s transactions now run through the electronic dollar system. My read is that this remaining physical cash was still feeding the parallel market. That’s why Saleh is downplaying it as “tourist cash” almost like misdirection — he’s minimizing the significance publicly while the U.S. move quietly cuts off the last unmonitored supply line.

By choking the physical‑dollar pipeline, the U.S. is effectively starving the parallel market. And that fits the pattern: if you were preparing for a currency restructure, you would want the unofficial market neutralized beforehand. The article’s key line — “only 5% of demand depends on cash” — is the giveaway. He’s essentially signaling that the cash‑dollar channel has become small enough that the system can let it fade out without destabilizing anything. I find it very interesting and “under the radar” even though it’s right in our face.

Iraqi Government Advisor Downplays Impact of U.S. Cash Withdrawal

    Daban Mohammed16 hours ago

Mazhar Mohammad Saleh, economic and financial advisor to the Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Shia al-Sudani
Mazhar Mohammad Saleh, economic and financial advisor to the Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Shia al-Sudani

Mazhar Mohammad Saleh, economic and financial advisor to the Iraqi prime minister, stated that the decision of the United States to withhold $500 million from Iraq is “very limited” in scope, confirming that the transactions of companies with the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) are continuing and proceeding normally.

The Wall Street Journal first revealed on Tuesday that President Donald Trump’s administration had blocked a cargo plane carrying nearly $500 million in physical banknotes to pressure Baghdad into curbing Iran-aligned militias.

Five Iraqi sources told Reuters today that the move was limited to shipments of physical U.S. currency, totaling between $450 million and $500 million, which are periodically flown into Baghdad.

Meanwhile, currency market volatility saw the US dollar reach 155,000 IQD per $100, while the euro and British pound climbed to over 180,000 and 203,000 IQD, respectively.

Although the CBI currently maintains approximately $97 billion in foreign reserves, geopolitical instability and declining oil revenues threaten the original projection of exceeding $100 billion by 2029.

Saleh: U.S. Withholding of $500 Million Has Limited Impact

Saleh said that “Dollars are being provided continuously and without interruption to merchants and for foreign remittances, and the U.S. decision to withhold $500 million from Iraq is very limited and will have a 5% impact.”

He emphasized that there is a significant distinction between the cash dollars allocated to travelers at airports, approximately $3,000 per tourist, and the provision of foreign commercial financing, which is carried out through remittances and the international banking system.

“The halt of dollar inflows from America to Iraq is related to a very limited portion of the demand for dollars, not exceeding 5%, and this is linked to meeting the cash needs of tourists,” he added.

U.S. Dollar Restrictions Are ‘Logistical’ Not ‘Political’

Saleh emphasized that Washington’s decision is “logistical and not a political one.”

“The reduction in dollar remittances is related to the suspension of air travel, which has affected the transportation of cash dollars and goods, due to geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and Gulf countries. This is a temporary situation and has nothing to do with politics,” he noted.

95% of Iraq’s Foreign Currency Needs Are Met

The advisor further highlighted that transactions between companies and the Central Bank are ongoing, with these transfers fulfilling approximately 95% of the market’s demand for foreign currency.

  31. Thank you again MG. You are right there is no democracy in Iraq, Trump has the final approval and he has said ok to Maliki and Sudani’s man. Your statement “I know, I know many of you are saying there always going to be something to stop it.” The fact of the matter is that has been the truth for years and years and years, its a FACT. Also most dinarians are so tired of the word soon that word has no sense of truth or reality because it has been misused and over used for years. Just say “in the future” it would be more accurate and factual. When you use the word soon, the thought of here we go again with that word, it just misrepresents the agenda. Thank you for your efforts WE WAIT!

  32. You think this might have an effect on parallel market in Iraq? The missing link: Iran’s currency networks run through Iraq. Iran uses Iraqi exchange houses as dollar funnels; it is the core engine of Iraq’s parallel market.  When the U.S. sanctions Iranian currency firms, it indirectly hits Iraq’s parallel market. The U.S. sanctions on Iranian currency firms and Iraq’s activation of the Market/Merchant Platform are part of the same financial‑pressure architecture, and the moves land within days of each other because they are designed to hit both ends of the same smuggling pipeline. You might call this a “Kill Shot” Wild stuff, right?

The United States announced fresh sanctions on Friday against three Iranian foreign currency exchange companies, aiming to cut off what officials described as Tehran’s “financial lifelines” fueling instability in the Middle East.

In a separate warning, the US Treasury Department cautioned that any payments made to Iran’s government for safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz could trigger sanctions.

The strategic waterway, vital for global energy shipments, has been effectively blocked by Tehran since late February following joint US-Israeli strikes on Iranian targets.

Channel8 Uncovers Iraq’s New Government Roadmap and Allocation of Ministerial Portfolios

Channel8 has uncovered key details regarding the status of negotiations between Iraqi political blocs concerning the formation of the new government and the allocation of ministerial portfolios. This information highlights the ongoing process of distributing cabinet seats among the involved parties.

Prime Minister-designate Ali al-Zaidi has 21 days remaining to present his cabinet before the May 27 constitutional deadline.

Al-Zaidi Near Cabinet Consensus; Key Ministries Pending

Information obtained by Channel8 indicates that al-Zaidi’s negotiations with political blocs are progressing toward a consensus, with a vote on his cabinet likely to take place in the Council of Representatives next week.

While the majority of cabinet positions have been finalized, the appointments of ministers for Oil, Interior, and Finance remain pending.

Internal deliberations within the Shiite Coordination Framework have yet to reach a consensus on the allocation of these three critical sovereign ministries.

Oil Ministry Dispute Between al-Sudani and al-Maliki

The Ministry of Oil remains the primary point of contention between Mohammed Shia al-Sudani of the Reconstruction and Development Coalition and Nouri al-Maliki of the State of Law Coalition, as both leaders vie for control of the portfolio.

While al-Sudani possesses sufficient points to secure the ministry, al-Maliki’s State of Law Coalition—holding only 14 seats—currently falls short of the 15 to 16 points required to claim a sovereign ministry like Oil or Interior.

Al-Zaidi Calls for Three Candidates per Ministry

According to Channel8 sources, al-Zaidi has requested that political parties nominate three candidates for each ministerial post, from which he will select the most qualified individual for parliamentary approval.

The proposed cabinet structure will consist of 22 ministries, allocated as 12 for Shia blocs, 6 for Sunni parties, and 4 for Kurdish representatives.

Kurdish Ministries Divided Between PUK and KDP

The four Kurdish ministries will be divided between the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) and the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), with the latter expected to retain the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and another portfolio.

Fuad Hussein is expected to transition to the position of Deputy Prime Minister rather than remaining as Minister of Foreign Affairs.

As part of a strategic understanding, the PUK is expected to cede one of its two cabinet positions to the New Generation Movement, with the Ministry of Environment identified as the most likely portfolio to be handed over.

Coordination Framework Proposes Four Deputy Prime Ministers

The Coordination Framework has proposed an expansion of the executive branch to include four Deputy Prime Ministers, though discussions remain open to maintaining only three. Under the four-deputy model, the positions would be distributed as two for the Shia, one for the Sunnis, and one for the Kurds; otherwise, each component would receive a single representative.

Sources indicate that Mohsen al-Mandalawi of the Sadiqoun Bloc and Fuad Hussein are already slated to occupy these deputy premierships.

Presidency to Include Two Vice Presidents

In a move to restore political balance, the presidency will now include two Vice Presidents, with the Taqaddum Party and the State of Law Coalition each securing a post. Taqaddum has submitted Wasfi al-Assi, Faleh al-Zaidani, and Mohammed Tamim as its nominees, while State of Law has fielded al-Maliki for the position.

Furthermore, Channel8 has identified several key ministerial allocations: Defense to the Azm Alliance, Foreign Affairs and Construction and Housing to the KDP, Justice and Environment to the PUK, Transportation and Communications to the Badr Organization, and Labor and Social Affairs to the Sadiqoun bloc.

    1. “…to restore political balance” they may institute an additional vice-presidency so that there will be 2 Shiite VPs, and one each of Sunni and Kurdish extraction. What a crock of halal stew! The PM has not even been confirmed and the CF have revealed their power-grabbing intentions. Is the Iraqi government so divorced from the principles of their Constitution that such an action actually seems reasonable?

  36. I think the U.S. is pushing very hard right now for Iraq to free themselves from Iran, the whole election drama that we have been witnessing is proof of that, and now Sadr has put out a list of demands for the next government to put into effect, the main demand being the disarmament of the militias and their repurpose into productive groups for the people as well as demanding the end of the corruption in the government. It seems that these armed militias time is up, as far as the conditions you have mentioned in this post as being necessary for us to see the PTDZ’s, I believe all that is being taken care of as we speak and the powers that be have a plan that is taking all the list requirements you mentioned in your 9/16 post into consideration with everything we are seeing happening right now, so not specific in other words.

If we’re honest the US created and sponsored isis, hezbollah etc. Under Bush and Obama To create conflict in ME rendering an excuse to always be present in the region militarily to plunder/control resources and reconfigure ME map/ layout for the greed of the elite military industrial complex and black project funding in my opinion.. I agree iraq must rid it self of militias in order to move forward. Not going to lie MGT you threw me off with the 4 year comment, considering the week before you stated the cbi is ready to move forward with deletion of three zeros..Deep down inside I’ve always felt this investment is viable on paper but the powers at be will never allow it due to the fact they want us to “own nothing and be happy ” however I continue to wait it out with you and the rest of the dinarians. Much love thanks for all you do

  39. thank you MG,, another informative report. My viewpoint is quite different than the majority populace, there are going to be casualties in Iran we should not have taken our foot off the neck of Iran. We have lost the momentum we had, we give them a document to sign if not signed we start taking out infrastructure gradually. The people sooner or later have to rise up an take over so far that has not happened. Use strong overwhelming force quickly. The people have to rise up. NO ONE SAID THIS WOULD BE QUICK AN EASY. THEY WILL NEVER STAND BY AN AGREEMENT. THEY WILL NEVER STOP WANTING ISRAEL DESTROYED.

    1. Guten Tag, Ashley,
No, everyone said this would be quick and easy. I think they want to save the infrastructure.
Lessons leaned from Iraq. They are letting Iran implode from within. It’s the Amreican public and fake
news media they have to deal with day after day.

Aren’t you listening to the news?
I don’t worry about Iran as it now has God’s hand on it and it is just a matter of time.
Our RV hedges on this resolution, just so you know.
