So, I do it out of charity and love with the understanding that all of us do NOT have the time to go do our own research. We are busy with our jobs, our daily lives and raising our children. As I am saying this take time and is like a third job.

STATUS OF THE RV
I want to wish everyone a Holy and Happy Easter week, Resurrection Sunday and the season that follows.
No! The RV did not yet happen. The IQD is not yet trading on FOREX and certainly there were no banker’s meeting with Trump at Mara Largo to announce an RV. Yes, these are the stupid rumors once again this week. I wish these idiots would get a life and educate themselves.
Not a lot of new developments this new period to report. However, there was one nugget of news I do want to share that I find interesting. Based on my recent conversation with my CBI contact in Iraq (which was yesterday), she also agrees with the rest of the citizens that if the Iranian issue can be resolved, they are going to move ahead with the currency reform effort and complete it.
We know that the next round of talks between the U.S. and Iran are scheduled for Saturday April 19 in Rome. Why Rome I haven’t a clue other than maybe its just neutral ground. There is talk that maybe the Vatican might have a hand in these negotiations and the outcome. I think there is much more “passive” power from the Vatican than most think.
Now, having said this – Did I say it was going to RV on Saturday the minute these talks are completed. First of all, we don’t even know how the negotiations will go. Next there may be many more future meetings. Then once the terms are negotiated by both parties, there may be work to done to show an honest commitment by both parties.
But we do have at least some sense of some timing? Let’s look at what we do know. We know that they just told us in Tuesday’s Newsletter that the corruption with the dollar and I quote “Member of Parliament Majid Shingal confirmed on Sunday “that June will witness an end to dollar smuggling operations, noting that strict oversight will be imposed on the funds of companies, politicians, and influential people.” We also know that The EU announced the digital Euro is coming in October. We also know that the Budget tables are being adjusted in the finance committee and we were told that once they do arrive in parliament they will be “pushed” through and passed. The hold up in the drop in oil prices and they had to review the projects again and adjust. They do not want to go into deficit spending and have to borrow.
So, does the Iraq currency reform have any alignment with these events? These are questions and thoughts to put in the back of your mind. We are not going to play idiot intel guru ☹ and start making up opinions, predictions, lies and rumors. As responsible educated adults we are going to watch it play out. We are going to stay calm and not over speculate. I believe that there are also spiritual issues that come into play. If after watching all these prophecies I have given you and then watching them play out, I don’t know have anyone can deny that these future prophetic events will not also occur. Just listening to personal boots-on-the-ground, I learned that we are very close as my CBI contract was told last week that she would be coming back to work on the committee for the Project to Delete the Zeros very soon. She was told to finish up her current work assignment. So, we have to listen and take in all these clues. There is something brewing. We need to stop demanding a definition of “very soon” and just relax. Like I keep saying there is also a spiritual timing to all this as this RV is part of God’s great reset and transfer of wealth.
Having said all this, I want to cover yet more recent news about the tourist industry in Iraq. I know I talked about this already in my last Newsletter. Remember the 23 cruise ships Iraq is contracting to build? Oh boy… have you given any more thought to this “river taxi project”, in conjunction with the Ministry’s plan to develop the Corniche dock in Basra Governorate? So today we are wowed with yet another article with more of the same about making Iraq a “destination”. THINK, THINK, THINK about it and THINK some more what they are doing. Not only are they building a huge port for these container ships to dock and unload/reload, then these “economic cities” as we would call them “industrial parks”. They are going to best utilize the waterways. Then they secured their borders, controlling the customs and tariffs revenues. They are also building the infrastructure such a roadways and electricity to accommodate it all. Folks the writing is on the wall. They are not riding camels anymore in the desert….lol..lol..
😊The very recent article I am referring to is titled “FROM ARMS TO PROSPERITY: A EUROPEAN REPORT INDICATES THAT IRAQ IS BECOMING A TOURIST DESTINATION.”
The Swiss newspaper “Neue Zürcher Zeitung” (NZZ) published a report on Wednesday on the improvement of tourism in Iraq, confirming that the country has regained its health and transformed into a center of prosperity after being rife with chaos and scenes of violence and weapons.
I quote from a piece from the article – “Iraq has put its modern history behind it and is beginning to welcome tourists after it was once seen as hell on earth,” the newspaper reported, translated by Shafaq News Agency. “But the country has regained stability, and the government is working hard to attract visitors,” it said. “Cities like Baghdad and Basra are witnessing remarkable changes, including the renovation of streets and historical sites. Religious sites, especially the shrines in Karbala, attract millions of pilgrims, and the government is seeking to capitalize on their economic and tourism value .” You can read the full article in the Articles Section. Many of us need to get a different perspective of Iraq and what is really going on today. Many of us still have this stench of war on our minds of burnt-out caravans of cars and trucks on the roads. Although Iraq has not yet gone fully global, they are a far cray from the 2003 war situation. Folks, it has been 20 years already and they have come a long way. This is why I emphasis what they have accomplished in the just the last 2 years is a topper to it all and the final phase now that they are out of Chapter VII sanctions.
Remember that you don’t come out of sanctions that lasted for over 30 years (1991-2022), they just pop right back. It takes time. And worst yet to “pop back” there were strict guidelines given to them to accomplish. We know that these are they are the Pillars of Financial Reform. The world changed so much in 30 years. The world of banking is now modernized and Iraq had to make these changes to compete.
So, I really hate when someone asks me what the hold is for the RV. This tells me their ignorance and lack of understanding of the Iraq situation. Could they have progressed much faster? Sure they could have and we were told way back in 2014 that trillions of dollars (not billions) had been stolen that could have rebuild the entire country a couple times over. They also have had a couple bad prime ministers and they certainly did not help more the progress along.
So today is Holy Thursday. Why not take this holy season to pray and move forward on our thoughts about this coming gift from God.

These prophecies are more important now than ever. They give us the strength, perseverance and hope that a better time is coming and that God’s Hand is at work behind the scenes. If you just take a second even to look around you at this past election cycle how ca you deny that God is at work. It is amazing and there is no other way that these events could have happened the way they turned out. But there is more to come, much more! Now that God has his biblical David re-elected we need to pay attention to what He does next.
God told us it will be an “hypnotic November” and turbulent until next June 2025 and so, isn’t it? Was He lying to us? Remember that these globalist have had it too good for too long and are not just going to lay down and let themselves be destroyed. They are going to fight until the very end. If all else fails the will get more and more desperate to overcome the good trying to rebuild and free our nation.
These prophecies today are powerful and I encourage everyone to listen carefully to them. Is there a connection to getting our long-awaited RV? Of course there is, and if you can’t see it yet then just wait and it will become more and more obvious to you how the crooked run U.S. administrations have corrupted Iraq and held it hostage since the 1991 and 2003 wars with the Bush, Obama and Biden administrations. But this control too is going to end and God is going to finally FREE the Iraqi people again.
NOTE: These prophecies just keep getting better and better, giving us HOPE of a bright future. But the real reason why I listen to them is that we can actually see what God says He will do taking place right in front of our noses. It is a confirmation to me that God is real and is still with us forever just as in biblical times.

Please try to remember to pray each and every day. In Hebrews 11:6, it underscores this principle of why we pray: “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
It is LENT time for us Catholics. We are winding down LENT as it is now Holy Week. Why not take advantage of the LENTEN season and pray. You don’t have to be Catholic to pray….lol..lol.. As a Christian, Praying the rosaries for me is my way to pray and has had a significant impact on my life and focus during this Easter season and throughout the year. I find it is good to remember the Stations of the Cross during lent and what our savior did for us. In know many of you may not be Catholics or even Christians but try to take a different approach this Easter. Try to see what all the fuss is about Christ. Put yourself in Christ shoes (or should I say sandals) as an ordinary person in today’s world. You can quickly see that the nature of man has not changed very much and if Christ were born today, many would probably try to crucify him. Have we not learned anything?

THE PRIME MINISTER OF THE KURDISTAN REGIONAL GOVERNMENT AND THE GOVERNOR OF THE CENTRAL BANK DISCUSS THE PROGRESS OF THE DIGITIZATION OF FINANCIAL SERVICES AND THE “MY ACCOUNT” PROJECT.
Kurdistan Regional Government Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq today, Wednesday (April 16, 2025).
The two sides discussed the progress made in digitizing financial services and the “My Account” banking project, and agreed on the need to reduce cash use.
Masrour Barzani indicated that the regional government will continue the digital payment process.
He also thanked the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq for his support for the financial reforms being implemented by the regional government, praising his plans to reform the banking system.
Masrour Barzani affirmed the regional government’s readiness to coordinate with institutions operating within the framework of the Central Bank’s laws and regulations.

TRADE BANK OF IRAQ LAUNCHES FREE CASH DEPOSIT SERVICE VIA ATMS
The Trade Bank of Iraq announced on Tuesday the availability of a free cash deposit service via ATMs for its bank cardholders, stating that this service aims to simplify procedures and provide faster and easier services to citizens.
The bank’s media advisor, Aqeel Al-Shuwaili, said in a statement reported by the official news agency, and reviewed by “Al-Eqtisad News”, that “the cash deposit service is available to holders of the bank’s cards (Visa, Mastercard) issued in Iraqi dinars only,” noting that “the service is free and does not require any additional fees.”
Al-Shuwaili explained that “the maximum limit for a single deposit transaction is 5,000,000 Iraqi dinars, provided that the number of banknotes does not exceed 150, while the maximum monthly deposit limit is 13,200,000 Iraqi dinars,” noting that “other deposits made through the bank’s mobile application or through branch cashiers are counted within the specified monthly ceiling.”
He explained that “the cash denominations accepted through ATMs are: 10,000, 25,000 and 50,000 Iraqi dinars,” calling on customers to “withdraw the transaction receipt after depositing, as it includes its details, in addition to sending a notification of the deposited amount to the customer’s email.”
He stressed that “the cash” deposit service is available through ATMs in the following locations:
* Main Branch: Al-Harithiya – Al-Kindi Street – Building No. (4).
* International Zone Branch: Al-Tashree’ District – Green Zone – Block 228.
* Al-Mansour Branch: 14 Ramadan Street – next to Shamisani Restaurant.
* Al-Tahrir Branch: Al-Rashid Street – Building No. (11) – next to the Artists Syndicate.
* Erbil Branch: Waziran – Zakros Street – opposite Sami Abdul Rahman Park. *
Haibat Khatun Branch: Al-A’dhamiyah – Omar bin Abdul Aziz Street.

“As a result, the government of Iraq, which was once in chaos, has ambitious plans to turn it into a tourist destination with promising potential,” he noted, explaining that “Mesopotamia is, after all, the cradle of civilization, where agriculture originated and where the Sumerians, Babylonians, and Arabs established great empires .”
He stated that “Iraq has more than 12,000 heritage sites listed on the UNESCO list, including the ruins of Babylon and Ur, and what is believed to be the remains of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Iraqis are famous for their hospitality, and Baghdad was recently chosen as the Arab Tourism Capital for 2025, and the government has launched an electronic visa .”
Baghdad “A Great Adventure “
The report quotes Ahmed Qutaiba, a Baghdadi, who opens his fiery red Dodge Charger, reminiscent of the Fast and Furious movie series, to ferry tourists around Baghdad. He used to work for Oxfam, but now visitors can book him as a tour guide for $250 a day. “I support myself financially,” he says. “I recently had a tour group from Romania, so I had to rent a bus for them .”
He adds, “Baghdad has been through harsh times, with Shiite and Sunni extremists fighting each other and committing massacres against civilians. But after the city repelled an ISIS attack in 2015, things changed. Today, Baghdad is witnessing renewed construction activity, with cranes raising new skyscrapers and highways being built everywhere .”
In the old city center, the government has renovated the famous Mutanabbi Street, where books have been sold for centuries. In the 1960s, Baghdad was one of the cultural capitals of the Middle East. Few traces of this era remain, after the bloodshed in recent years drove many to flee the country. However, intellectuals still reside on Mutanabbi Street .
Karbala is a destination for visitors
The report stated that, “In Karbala, the shrines of Imam Hussein and Imam Abbas are located about an hour and a half by car from Baghdad. Its massive mosques with their crystal chandeliers are among the most important shrines for Shia Muslims, with pilgrims flocking from far and wide to Karbala or neighboring Najaf, where Imam Ali is buried. These shrines in central Iraq are among the most visited places in the world .”
He pointed out that “about twenty million visitors visit this place annually, during the month,” noting that “inside the shrine, it is common to see men bursting into tears, or simply sitting on the ground staring into nothingness in astonishment .”
“Outside, things seem simpler. In the streets leading to the holy shrines with their golden domes, vendors sell almost everything, from religious items to clothes and mobile phones, ” he said.
The report quotes Najm, the head of security at one of the shrines in Karbala, as saying, “The establishments surrounding the shrines have long since become huge commercial enterprises. The state is also investing in Karbala, building hotels and restaurants .”
Iraq is a secular state
Iraq was once considered a secular state, with former President Saddam Hussein designating Johnnie Walker whiskey as the national drink. But since his fall, social life has become more restricted, not just in Karbala. The government cracked down on alcohol sales and closed most bars in Baghdad. Since then, Iraqis drink alcohol at home, travel to Kurdish areas of the Kurdistan Region, or visit one of the few hotel bars still open in the capital .
He explained that “at the ‘Happy Times’ bar at the Palestine Hotel, women in elaborate makeup serve small glasses filled with schnapps, while men with mustaches resembling Saddam’s throw wads of counterfeit money into the air .”
“For a long time, this was almost impossible in Iraq,” he explained. “During the dark years of civil war and the ISIS invasion, many Iraqis holed up in their homes, and every step outside was life-threatening. But now, with some stability in the country, people are going out more, as if to make up for lost time. As a result, Baghdad’s restaurants are full, and people are still wandering the streets until late at night .”
Basra is renewed
In Basra, the newspaper quoted Badr, a train manager for 32 years, as saying, “We’ve been working almost constantly, even during the war. The train is a symbol of the Iraqis’ will to resist, and now we hope to welcome visitors from abroad .”
“In Basra, the desire for normalcy is clearly evident. The city, which until recently was considered deserted, is now being revitalized,” the report said. “On the Shatt al-Arab corniche, where the Tigris and Euphrates rivers flow into the Persian Gulf, families stroll along newly paved streets. In the old town, UNESCO has restored some old houses, and there is now a small history museum and a five-star hotel where a Belgian tourist group is staying .”
He stressed that “Basra suffers from air pollution and high temperatures, and climate change threatens the nearby marshes, which are vast swamps teeming with water buffalo and endless reed forests .”

SALEH: THINGS BETWEEN BAGHDAD AND ERBIL ARE MOVING TOWARD A BREAKTHROUGH, AND EVERYONE IS TALKING ABOUT A SOLUTION.
Former Iraqi President Barham Salih affirmed on Wednesday that the relationship between Baghdad and Erbil remains below the desired level, but that the steps currently underway give cause for optimism about the possibility of reaching serious solutions.
“The situation is heading toward a thaw, in light of the ongoing meetings and discussions between the federal government and the regional government, in the presence of the federal prime minister, his counterpart in the region, and the oil minister,” Saleh said during a press conference attended by Shafaq News Agency.
He pointed out that “what is reassuring is that everyone is speaking the language of resolution, and that there is consensus on the need to overcome outstanding differences,” noting that “resorting to the constitution must be the first and final authority in resolving outstanding issues, with the interests of citizens being placed above all other considerations.”
Regarding the legislative elections, Saleh explained that “the decision to hold the elections was approved and announced by the Prime Minister, who affirmed the government’s commitment to holding them on the scheduled date.” He considered this step necessary to consolidate political stability in the country.
Regarding the Kurds’ position in light of regional and international changes, he highlighted “the importance of unifying Kurdish ranks and seriously addressing the major transformations taking place in the region and the world, ensuring the preservation of Kurdish rights and gains within the national framework.”

INFORMED SOURCES: US-IRAN TALKS SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY MOVED TO ROME
Informed sources revealed on Wednesday that an agreement has been reached to move the US-Iran talks scheduled for Saturday to Rome.
Sources reported that the Italian Foreign Ministry informed its European partners and the Gulf states of Rome’s continued readiness to provide any kind of support to the mediation process between Tehran and Washington. Following the first round of talks held in Muscat, Iran announced that upcoming talks with the United States would remain “indirect,” mediated by Oman, and would focus exclusively on the nuclear issue and the lifting of sanctions.
