At this time more than ever I do not need to spend my time doing all this. My time is hard to find, as I have to hold down two formal jobs already due to COVID just to keep the business going. So, I do it out of charity and love with the understanding that all of us do NOT have the time to go do our own research. We are busy with our jobs, our daily lives and raising our children. As I am saying this take time and is like a third job.

STATUS OF THE RV
Wasn’t all the news from my April 8TH Newsletter wonderful? There is not much news to report on today. But what we do have is yet more good news, this time stemming around building the Iraqi economy. I will not talk about all the articles today in this commentary. You can go read them for yourself it you are interested. But I will say that Iraq is moving ahead regardless of the many obstacles they keep throwing in front of them. This is the uphill battle they fight every day. There is also some bad news too today, but it is what I believe is just “informative bad news” and will not actually occur and can’t occur. If you read the article today on this subject matter of the Iranian militias, you will clearly see why I am saying this.
Have you noticed that the news no longer revolves all around the corruption but instead the Rafidain Bank and the use of it along with the digital dinar for dealing in foreign transactions. Iraq is now building their data center to handle the digital dinar and it is soon to come online. Let me remind everyone that Europe and digital Euro is planned for implementation in October of this year. Could this also be a target for Iraq? Also in the background remember that the “Development Road Project” is still underway and the initial funding for the first “Economic City” was provided. The roadways and rail lines are being build to run north and south, extending out east and west to the main ports of entry/planned cities to transport goods and materials needed into vital parts of Iraq much like the U.S. highway systems runs. This is what is going to bring the economic boom. Iraq has also opened up to the strong possibility that their future revenues cannot rely solely on oil.
However, there are still a number of troublesome issues with the left-over Iranian militias. This is still at the root of the problem in Iraq. Yes, these pain-in-the-asses still linger like used gum on the bottom of your shoe. What the hell to do with almost a quarter billion militia? Do you disarm them and then find them jobs? You must first create the jobs. Do you allow them then to vote in the upcoming elections? Can’t send them back to Iran or can they? What does the U.S. demand? These are questions they are asking and must solve.
So, Iraq is not yet out of the proverbial doghouse yet on these issues. The first step is to disarm them and can they even be able to do this? Let’s explore these issues today so we can understand what is taking place. As investors in the Iraqi dinar, we must learn to take the bad news along with the good. We must be realists and stop lying to ourselves, as many of these intel gurus do to their listeners. I am not throwing away all this progress we have seen over these last two year,s but I am saying we must also realize there is still work to be done. We don’t need to go off half-cocked and disappointed either, as things are moving quickly now and we are not talking about years maybe months at most.
☹In the article titled “US FEARS THE POPULAR MOBILIZATION LAW… “IT THREATENS WASHINGTON’S INTERESTS AND CREATES A NEW REVOLUTIONARY GUARD.” The Washington Institute for Near East Policy called on the US administration, headed by Donald Trump, to send a “calm and firm” message to the Iraqi government regarding the risks of passing a new law related to the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), warning that this legislation would transform the PMF into an entity similar to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.
He considered that “these practices represent blatant manipulation,” noting that “Baghdad is currently studying two legislative projects that could grant the Popular Mobilization Forces greater legitimacy as a national security institution. (Oh no, we don’t want this! )
1.The first is the Popular Mobilization Forces Service and Retirement Law, which the report described as internally aiming to remove leaders of rival militias.
2.The second, and more important, is the amended Popular Mobilization Forces Authority Law, which restructures the Mobilization Forces within a formal framework resembling a ministerial institution.”
According to the report, passing the new law would consolidate the Popular Mobilization Forces, which number approximately 238,000 members, as a parallel armed force with powers at the local and regional levels. The report emphasized that “the legislation will consolidate the Popular Mobilization Forces’ status as a permanent structure within the Iraqi security sector, not as an emergency force, but rather as a ministry-like institution that would be difficult to reform or dissolve later.”
He also warned that the draft law explicitly refers to the Popular Mobilization Forces as the “guarantor of the political system,” led by Shiite factions since 2003, similar to the role of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps. This weakens the standing and prestige of the Iraqi armed forces and grants the militias broad powers that could include “militarizing the political process, from candidate registration to voting and government formation.”
In other words if this law did pass, it would make these militias legitimate piece of the Iraqi armed forces, loyal towards Iran and not Iraq. The Iranian backed politicians could use these forces to bend the will of the Iraqi people and I quote from the article “draft law explicitly refers to the Popular Mobilization Forces as the “guarantor of the political system,” They would be legal and hard to disband at this point.
So, what would this accomplish in line with the Trump administrations goals of isolating Iran and getting Iran out of Iraq altogether? It absolutely would do just the opposite and so when we read articles earlier in the week about disarming the Iranian backed militia this seemed to be all good news for us and finally there was hope. Now we hear this news today and it makes us wonder what the hell is going on. Of course, this new law is backed by the Iranian politicians and we must realize and see clearly that they simply do not want to lose their current influence in Iraq. All we can do as investors is now sit back and see what happens with this new “draft” law. It certainly can’t become law and enforced. I do not think the U.S. is going to allow it.
😊Meanwhile we also have some more good news today. In the article titled “US OFFICIAL: WE HAVE HUGE OPPORTUNITIES IN IRAQ” we learn that the Vice President of the US Chamber of Commerce, Steve Lutes, announced that “his country’s companies in the energy and healthcare sectors will visit Baghdad in the coming period,” stressing that “there are tremendous opportunities in Iraq.”
A US delegation arrived in Iraq last Monday, the largest US trade mission ever, comprising representatives from 60 companies across various sectors.
In a statement seen by Al-Masry Al-Youm on Thursday, Lutz said, “The American delegation listened to a speech by Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani regarding relations between Iraq and the United States and ways to develop them.”
He added, “The US economic delegation signed several important agreements with Iraq, some of which were attended by the Iraqi Prime Minister, and this was in coordination with the US Treasury Department.” Lutz noted that “this visit will be a new spark for developing relations between American economic and business companies and Iraq, especially given the many investment opportunities we seek to capitalize on in light of the long-term partnership with our Iraqi partners.”
I know this second article sounds very hopeful for Iraq but remember this U.S. involvement comes with strings attached. Iraq must clean up its act and get rid of the Iranian influence. Americans do not want to deal with these militias as they are a threat to American business in Iraq. This is not how America likes to do business.
To summarize the status of the RV today I have to also add that the reinstatement to FOREX was NEVER planned for this week or last week. We should also not expect it next week either. If we follow the news and progress in Iraq there is going to come to a point in time when they begin talking more and more about three topics in their news: The Project to Delete the Zeros, the digital dinar and the WTO accession. I am told that when these three issues come up in the news in a short span apart and discussed in detail, we can expect something BIG to occur and my CBI contact informed me she was already told to prepare going back to the committee for the currency change-out to the newer lower denominations, so we know this period of time is closer than we think with the convergence of these three topics in the news.
There is not much more to add to my commentary today, as we are winding up to the Easter Sunday / Resurrection Sunday next week and warmer weather to pop out. This is a time of hope in many directions and instead of being sad-sacks we all should be cheering with joy for the many blessings we already have and what God, through his prophets, has told us and is more imminent than ever is coming VERY SHORTLY! Remember this is the moment for many of these prophecies foretold a decade ago to come to pass. This is the time and we can all feel it. Embrace it and keep praying for it. This is the entry of the “Golden Age” of American. Stop and think why God is telling us this if not for a great wealth transfer that is coming. God does not lie to us! 😊

I want to add that in the blog comments someone asked me if “Any Chance to get back to Dinar info”. When I read it, I said to myself “you got to be kidding”! All I can say is this person just still does not get it. All the effort I put into bringing all the tools at our disposal to truly understand what is going on. I am only presenting information to you because it’s all interconnected. I am so sad to see that this person still does not see the connections. He/she still does not get it. If you just take a second even to look around you at this past election cycle how ca you deny that God is at work. It is amazing and there is no other way that these events could have happened the way they turned out. But there is more to come, much more! Now that God has his biblical David re-elected we need to pay attention to what He does next.
God told us it will be an “hypnotic November” and turbulent until next June 2025 and so, isn’t it? Was He lying to us? Remember that these globalist have had it too good for too long and are not just going to lay down and let themselves be destroyed. They are going to fight until the very end. If all else fails the will get more and more desperate to overcome the good trying to rebuild and free our nation.

I want to bring out one last note. Remember the prophets told us from God that “what can be exposed, will be exposed” and many people even after hearing all the FACTS will refuse to believe the TRUTH about all these conspiracies as they will be unbelievable that these sorts of things could even actually happen, and they could get away with them for so long.
But I believe they have and unless you stand up to them they will continue. Let’s just take the conspiracy on Iraq and the all the money that was stolen. When will the TRUTH also come out about the death of the real Joe Bidin in 2019, at just the start of his campaign for president. Then who is the actor put in his place for the next four years? Then what are Michelle’s and Barrack Obama’s real sexual orientations? In a democratic society we must keep asking these questions and find the TRUTH.
Don’t you believe for one second that they can’t fool us as they are very good at this. But you can’t hide all the TRUTH all the time. People have lives and friends these are liabilities and someone or something such as the facts are all going to be exposed.

It is LENT time for us Catholics. We are winding down LENT as Palm Sunday is just around the corner. Why not take advantage of the LENTEN season and pray. Praying the rosaries for me is my way to pray and has had a significant impact on my life and focus during this Easter season. I find it is good to remember the Stations of the Cross during lent and what our savior did for us. In know many of you may not be Catholics or even Christians but try to take a different approach this Easter. Try to see what all the fuss is about Christ. Put yourself in Christ shoes (or should I say sandals) as an ordinary person in today’s world. You can quickly see that the nature of man has not changed very much and if Christ were born today, many would probably try to crucify him. Have we not learned anything?

AL-MASHHADANI TO THE AMERICAN DELEGATION: THE UNITED STATES IS ONE OF IRAQ’S MOST IMPORTANT STRATEGIC PARTNERS.
Al-Mashhadani receives US Chargé d’Affaires Daniel Rubenstein and an economic delegation from the American Chamber of Commerce.
On Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at the Presidential Palace in Baghdad, Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Mahmoud al-Mashhadani, received the Chargé d’Affaires of the US Embassy in Iraq, Daniel Rubenstein. Rubenstein was accompanied by a large economic delegation from the US Chamber of Commerce, including representatives of 57 American companies, headed by Lotus Steve, and a number of company presidents and investors. The meeting was held as part of the US Chamber of Commerce’s economic conference in Iraq.
Al-Mashhadani affirmed, according to a statement received by Al-Jabal, that “Iraq welcomes all initiatives that contribute to developing its economy and strengthening its international partnerships, particularly with the United States, which represents one of its most important strategic partners in various fields.”
The Speaker of Parliament emphasized “the critical importance of investment in Iraq, particularly in vital and strategic sectors such as oil and electricity, which represent the backbone of the Iraqi economy. He also emphasized the need to stimulate investment in the agricultural and industrial sectors, as well as in service sectors that are vital to the lives of Iraqi citizens, such as the environment, education, and health.”
Al-Mashhadani explained that “the Iraqi Parliament has enacted an investment law that provides a secure and stimulating legal environment for investment, protects investor rights, and encourages transparency and equal opportunities.”
He pointed out that “Parliament, as the ‘house of the people,’ ensures a dignified and safe life for citizens and works closely with the government through effective coordination mechanisms to support development projects and facilitate investment.” He stressed that “the Iraqi Parliament strongly supports the signing of bilateral agreements with friendly countries, which contribute to stimulating economic activity, attracting more foreign investment, and creating new job opportunities that contribute to reducing unemployment and enhancing economic stability.”
According to the statement, Daniel Rubenstein, Chargé d’Affaires at the US Embassy in Baghdad, affirmed “his country’s commitment to supporting Iraq on its path towards economic development and stability, and strengthening partnerships between the American and Iraqi private sectors.”
Lutz Steve, head of the US trade delegation, emphasized that “Iraq represents a promising investment market, and that US companies are looking forward to cooperation opportunities in various sectors, with a focus on creating job opportunities for Iraqi youth and contributing to the development of infrastructure and vital services.”

AL-MASHHADANI STRESSES THE IMPORTANCE OF EXPANDING INVESTMENT HORIZONS IN IRAQ.
Parliament Speaker Mahmoud al-Mashhadani held an expanded meeting today, Tuesday (April 8, 2025), with the head and members of the Independent High Electoral Commission, in the presence of a number of Sunni bloc leaders, to discuss ongoing preparations for the upcoming electoral process.
According to a statement from his media office, received by Baghdad Today, Al-Mashhadani stressed during the meeting the need for concerted national efforts to ensure the integrity and transparency of the elections, emphasizing the importance of creating a safe environment and strengthening confidence in democratic institutions.
The commission presented a detailed presentation on technical and administrative procedures, including updating the voter registry, distributing biometric cards, and securing polling stations. Commission officials noted particular challenges in liberated areas, calling for greater government support to facilitate their work.
For their part, Sunni bloc leaders expressed their full support for the commission, calling for effective guarantees to prevent any manipulation or interference that could affect the election results. They emphasized the need for effective participation by all components to ensure fair representation.

AL-NUSAIRI CONFIRMS THAT THE COMPREHENSIVE BANKING REFORM PROJECT ANNOUNCED BY THE CENTRAL BANK WILL YIELD PROMISING RESULTS.
Economic and banking advisor Samir Al-Nusairi confirmed that the banking reform project announced by the Central Bank is consistent with the methodology included and adopted in the government program and the Central Bank’s third strategy for the years 2023 and 2024.
It will yield promising results in cooperation with global consulting firms Ernst & Young, K2, and Oliver Wyman to build a transparent information base for comprehensive reform, starting with the banking sector as the first essential link in the economy. Without a sound, solid, and modern banking sector, a strong and robust national economy cannot be built.
Al-Nusairi pointed out that among the important initial results achieved is the commencement of the completion of the actual implementation of the plans drawn up during 2025 and 2026 for comprehensive reform, which are summarized in enhancing financial inclusion and achieving stimulating and sustainable returns for shareholders and investors, and the government and the Central Bank leading projects aimed at modernizing the private banking sector and meeting the needs of the transition to a rapidly growing national economy, creating a fair competitive environment in the banking market, and raising the level of private banks’ ability to confront risks and protect depositors and creditors, thus restoring confidence in the banking sector in general, as well as expanding digital transformation procedures, expanding and diversifying banking services and products, and complying with international standards.
Al-Nusairi pointed out that the above objectives, which were discussed yesterday at the Banking Reform Conference, are established as primary and secondary objectives in the Central Bank’s third strategy for the years 2024-2026, and that work is being done on them with a steady, systematic approach, and that the objectives will be achieved in cooperation with Oliver and Eman at an accelerated pace in the years 2025 and 2026.
It is clear that the Central Bank, in cooperation with relevant authorities, will focus on the following: sharing with the private banking sector detailed criteria and timelines for implementing the reform process, activating support channels, and holding workshops to provide technical assistance. The Central Bank of Iraq is fully committed to achieving this transformation by working closely with all relevant stakeholders to pave the way for a strong, resilient, modern, and inclusive financial and banking system.

US FEARS THE POPULAR MOBILIZATION LAW… “IT THREATENS WASHINGTON’S INTERESTS AND CREATES A NEW REVOLUTIONARY GUARD.”
The Washington Institute for Near East Policy called on the US administration, headed by Donald Trump, to send a “calm and firm” message to the Iraqi government regarding the risks of passing a new law related to the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), warning that this legislation would transform the PMF into an entity similar to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.
The institute stated in a report translated by Shafaq News Agency that “the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) have been considered a threat to US national security interests and Iraqi civilians for years,” noting that “US-designated terrorists hold senior leadership positions within the PMF, including the head of the organization and the chief of staff, exploiting this institutional structure to secure government salaries for tens of thousands of militia members affiliated with designated terrorist groups such as Kata’ib Hezbollah and Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq.”
He considered that “these practices represent blatant manipulation,” noting that “Baghdad is currently studying two legislative projects that could grant the Popular Mobilization Forces greater legitimacy as a national security institution. The first is the Popular Mobilization Forces Service and Retirement Law, which the report described as internally aiming to remove leaders of rival militias. The second, and more important, is the amended Popular Mobilization Forces Authority Law, which restructures the Mobilization Forces within a formal framework resembling a ministerial institution.”
According to the report, passing the new law would consolidate the Popular Mobilization Forces, which number approximately 238,000 members, as a parallel armed force with powers at the local and regional levels. The report emphasized that “the legislation will consolidate the Popular Mobilization Forces’ status as a permanent structure within the Iraqi security sector, not as an emergency force, but rather as a ministry-like institution that would be difficult to reform or dissolve later.”
He also warned that the draft law explicitly refers to the Popular Mobilization Forces as the “guarantor of the political system,” led by Shiite factions since 2003, similar to the role of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps. This weakens the standing and prestige of the Iraqi armed forces and grants the militias broad powers that could include “militarizing the political process, from candidate registration to voting and government formation.”
The report also warned that the legislation could encourage militias to repeat the violence against demonstrators and civil society organizations, as occurred during the 2019 protests, it said.
He called on the Trump administration to act quickly and convey its clear objections to officials in Baghdad, via direct messages to the President, Prime Minister, and Speaker of Parliament, to prevent the bill from being referred to the House of Representatives for ratification. He noted that such a step would not require a significant American effort, but rather a “firm signal behind the scenes.”
He pointed out that the current tense regional situation presents Washington with a powerful opportunity to exert pressure, as the United States is redeploying its forces extensively, while Iraqi militias are keen to remain outside the US targeting circle. This provides Washington with leverage that must be used wisely to prevent “the birth of a new Revolutionary Guard in the heart of the region,” as the report put it.
According to the report, the institute called on decision-makers in the White House and the US embassy in Baghdad to urgently reinforce this message and shift from quiet pressure tools to more vocal ones, including imposing sanctions on the Popular Mobilization Forces as a whole, as Washington previously did with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.
He explained that “these sanctions will have a broad financial impact within the Iraqi financial system, given that the Popular Mobilization Forces receive their salaries from the Iraqi government.”
The report continued, stating that “early US action to block this legislation would demonstrate the Trump administration’s awareness of the delicate developments in Iraq and its ability to deter Iranian-backed groups without waiting for a military escalation via drones or kidnappings and killings of Americans.”
The report concluded with a recommendation not to be satisfied with warnings, but to take concrete steps, such as imposing immediate sanctions on the General Engineer Company, the economic wing of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), which the report likened to the Khatam al-Anbiya Foundation, the economic conglomerate affiliated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, which has long been subject to international sanctions imposed by the United States, the European Union, and the United Nations.

US OFFICIAL: WE HAVE HUGE OPPORTUNITIES IN IRAQ
The Vice President of the US Chamber of Commerce, Steve Lutes, announced that “his country’s companies in the energy and healthcare sectors will visit Baghdad in the coming period,” stressing that “there are tremendous opportunities in Iraq.”
A US delegation arrived in Iraq last Monday, the largest US trade mission ever, comprising representatives from 60 companies across various sectors.
In a statement seen by Al-Masry Al-Youm on Thursday, Lutz said, “The American delegation listened to a speech by Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani regarding relations between Iraq and the United States and ways to develop them.”
He added, “The US economic delegation signed several important agreements with Iraq, some of which were attended by the Iraqi Prime Minister, and this was in coordination with the US Treasury Department.”
Lutz noted that “this visit will be a new spark for developing relations between American economic and business companies and Iraq, especially given the many investment opportunities we seek to capitalize on in light of the long-term partnership with our Iraqi partners.”
